You might need to bust out the oven mitts because the new Genesis GV80 is too hot to handle. The GV80 features a revised style and brand-new interior for the first time in three years. Check out what’s making the 2025 Genesis GV80 truly sizzle.

2025 Genesis GV80: What’s new?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is rocking a fresh redesign to provide a more confident and aggressive look. It builds upon the award-winning formula with a unique style and distinct high-performance features to stand out in a crowded segment.

You’ll notice that the Two-Line Crest Grille is larger and stretches down to the bumper for an athletic style that’s accented by larger air intakes and a wide skid plate.

The Two-Line headlamps with Mirco ens Array (MLA) tech provide an elegant touch around the smooth corner lines, and chrome accents frame the sides for a power presence from front to rear.

Also, the rear end features hidden muffler tips to blend its sophisticated and sporty nature, as the bold body-colored line on the bumper completes the look.

The 2025 GV80 rides on 20-inch wheels with an attractive multispoke design as two spokes with different finishes intersect. The available 22-inch wheels reinterpret the Two-Line design.

Was the GV80 interior redesigned?

The interior of the 2025 Genesis GV80 was completely redesigned to incorporate advanced tech, new premium materials, an elegant style, a better tech layout, and more intuitive controls so drivers can stay focused on the road.

High-quality materials include real wood accents, plush quilted leather upholstery, subtle chrome accents, bright ambient lighting, dual-tone steering wheel designs, and multi-color interior options.

The new 27-inch OLED display brings new life to the infotainment system with an enhanced resolution. Everything you need, from driver gauges to system settings, is conveniently located on one screen.

Benefit from the touch-based HVAC system (heating, cooling, ventilation) for easier control and a physical radio volume/tune knob. The redesigned wireless phone charging tray offers more convenient charging with an improved location.

Plus, the redesigned crystal-like Shift-by-Wire has a comfortable grip and shits near the enlarged cup holder. The redesigned pedals are anti-slip to enhance control.

New standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, and forward collision warning with automatic braking.

What engines come with the 2025 GV80?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 features the same engines as the outgoing model. The standard twin-turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four option provides 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque.

Upgrade to the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine for 375 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. Both options are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

With the 3.5-liter engine, the Genesis GV80 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 5.6 seconds. It can tow up to 6,000 lbs.

It gets an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and up to 20 mpg on the highway. The Genesis GV80 Coupe has a more powerful hybrid setup and athletic nature, but we are still waiting for its official fuel economy ratings.

While the GV80 was already the complete package, now it’s even more refined, and we can’t wait to take it for a spin. What do you think about the new look and features?
