Ever since the Genesis brand hit the market, it has been pushing the envelope when it comes to hyper-luxurious vehicles at an affordable price. For a while, the Genesis brand has flown under the radar, somewhat, using its resources to create fantastic cars that do all of the advertising for them. Now, in 2024, the Genesis brand continues to innovate with its GV80 midsize luxury SUV, aiming to be the best the world has to offer in its class.

With these aspirations come some interesting pricing dynamics in the lineup, with each trim varying wildly in price. Here is everything you need to know about the Genesis GV80 and how much you can expect to pay for each trim level.

Genesis GV80 Standard

The base model of the Genesis GV80 is the GV80 Standard, which starts at $57,450 MSRP, according to Genesis. For this price, drivers get a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive as standard equipment. According to U.S. News, this base model GV80 comes standard with synthetic leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a 14.5-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless device charging, a push button start, and a hands-free liftgate.

Regarding safety features, this base model GV80 has a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, forward automatic emergency braking, and more. This base model GV80 can also be had with a V6 engine, which brings the price up to $64,600 MSRP. Along with a boost in horsepower from 300 to 375, the V6 GV80 also comes with ventilated front seats, larger wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.

Genesis GV80 Advanced

If you want a little more luxury from your Genesis GV80, the Advanced trim might have you covered at $63,950 MSRP. For this price, you get the same four-cylinder engine from the base model with some extra luxury features. These features include genuine leather seats, ventilated front seats, power-folding third-row seats, a surround-view camera, a blind spot camera, and a panoramic sunroof.

Like the Standard GV80, the Advanced GV80 also has a V6 option, adding even more features. If you pay the higher price tag of $71,950 MSRP for the V6 Advanced GV80, you get heated second-row seats, tri-zone climate control, and a heads-up display.

Genesis GV80 Prestige

The Genesis GV80 Prestige is the top-of-the-line GV80, with quite the jump in price from the base model. The GV80 Prestige starts at $69,200 MSRP for the four-cylinder model and a whopping $77,000 MSRP for the V6 model. The four-cylinder GV80 Prestige has a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a heads-up display, tri-zone climate control, heated rear seats, 22-inch wheels, and an adaptive suspension system.

Again, the V6 GV80 Prestige has extra features, including ventilated rear seats and soft-close doors. While the high price tag of the GV80 Prestige may be shocking, there is one more special edition trim level in the lineup.

Genesis GV80 Prestige Signature

The Genesis GV80 Prestige Signature hits the marketplace at $81,500 MSRP. For that price, you get everything found in the precious Genesis GV80 Prestige trim, with a few bonus features. The Prestige Signature comes standard with a V6 engine as its only powerplant option and adds second-row captain chairs, second-row wireless device charging, and unique paint colors. It also adds dark chrome trim, making this the ultimate in Genesis GV80 luxury.

The price difference between the base model and the fully loaded GV80 model is $24,050, which is quite shocking. Many automotive companies only have a few thousand dollars separating their trim levels. Still, the Genesis GV80 lineup has a wide range of options and dozens of add-ons contributing to that price premium.
