Mahindra & Mahindra is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing division of Mahindra Tractors, the largest tractors manufacturer globally. Mahindra belongs to the Mahindra Group conglomerate.

The corporation was founded in 1945 as a steel trading company named Mahindra & Muhammed. After changing the name to Mahindra & Mahindra in 1948, the company began manufacturing multi-utility vehicles (MUVs) under the license of Willys Jeep for the Indian market, followed by light commercial vehicles and tractors.
