The priciest SUV in Honda’s current lineup is the 2023 Honda Passport Elite. The Passport Elite starts at $46,560.

Honda’s midsize SUV comes standard with all-wheel drive. It also includes roof rails, leather-trimmed seats, and a hands-free access power tailgate. The midsize SUV comes with heated and ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The 2023 Honda Passport Elite features adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, and a blind-spot information system with a cross-traffic monitor. It also comes with a one-touch power moonroof, an intelligent traction management system with Snow, Sand, and Mud modes, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability.

Honda offers three manufacturer packages for the Passport Elite: the HPD Black Package, HPD Bronze Package, and Utility Package. The Black and Bronze Package both tack on an additional $2,900. The Utility Package costs $745. Honda also offers four accessory packages.

MotorTrend praises the Passport’s spacious cargo area and mighty V6 engine. U.S. News & World Report claims that the Passport has an “upscale interior quality” and compliments its many standard features.

The 2023 Passport is a decent midsize SUV, but it’s far from the best in its segment. The Kia Telluride currently dominates the midsize SUV segment alongside models like its cousin, the Hyundai Palisade, and the Chevrolet Traverse.

Some midsize SUVs like the Toyota Highlander may not get high rankings from publications, but they’re industry favorites because of how long they can last. Honda’s midsize SUV offers decent value for the money, but it doesn’t necessarily stand out in such a competitive vehicle segment.
