You Can Buy A New 2023 Ford 7-Seat Excursion
Ford hasn’t made a Super Duty Excursion SUV for years. But that hasn’t stopped many from wishing it still did. That was the basis behind MegaRexx Trucks converting an F-250 into a new Excursion. And if you like it, you can buy one of these seven-passenger behemoth SUVs.

Over-the-top trucks are what is expected from MegaRexx, out of Castle Hayne, NC. It calls this three-row extra-large SUV the “MegaRexx SVN.” We’ve featured other trucks the company has created, like the MegaRaptor and MegaBronc trucks. When it comes to Ford trucks on bath slats, it is usually a MegaRexx creation.
First, MegaRexx fashions a long roof from aluminum. Then it turns the F-250 bed into a part of the cabin. Easier said than done, we know. It is integrated with the rest of the F-250, and not just a fiberglass bed cap.

The long expanse of tinted windows in the murdered-out presentation goes almost unnoticed. Inside, the blackness continues with leather-trimmed Lariat Ultimate-everything. This and more give the interior a very upscale appearance. Both the front and second-row seating feature power bucket seats.
The rear seat uses a Ford Expedition third-row seat. It’s trimmed as the front and middle row bucket seats are. And the third-row passengers get their own Vintage Air climate-controlled system. With the Lariat Ultimate trim, the front seats both come heated and ventilated. And Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment system and Bang and Olufsen’s sound system with 10 speakers are part of this package.

Outside, the MegaRexx SVN Super Duty receives a modest 2 ½-inch lift, along with a leveling system made by Carli Suspension. The 20-inch rims are Fuel Militia wheels, supporting 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler off-road hoops. Tubular side steps because of those tires and that lift are part of the package.
MegaRexx ID badging is everywhere. Both front and rear fenders get them, along with a badge on the C-pillars. Also, emblazoned on the tailgate is “MegaRexx.” Inside, the only identification appears on the dash, which you would expect for a high-end custom SUV.

The starting price is $179,950. At first, that’s enough to make you think twice. But keep in mind that this is a truly unique vehicle, yet it can take on the hauling of family, friends, toys, and more, with ease. And it’s big. If you want big, this is it.
And frankly, the Excursion conversion looks like it came from Ford this way. Some of the aftermarket hatchet jobs look, well, like hatchet jobs. MegaRexx has done plenty of similar conversions and has been doing so for a few years. So, c’mon, don’t be afraid. Step up to a big, rugged 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty Excursion.
