Even its bed, the Flexbed, deviates from the norm. The Maverick isn’t your conventional pickup truck, and that’s why it has become so wildly popular.

The Ford Maverick challenges everything you thought you knew about pickup trucks. Ford reinvented the wheel in a sense, and it paid off in a huge way. The Maverick clearly works as a standard hybrid with a gas engine option, but what about as an EV? Is there a market for an electric Ford Maverick (perhaps a Ford Maverick Lightning)?
