According to Edmunds, there are four major 2022 Ford Bronco optional packages. They are the Sasquatch, Mid, High, and Lux packages. Each one focuses on specific features and items that improve your Bronco. Most packages are available at all trim levels; however, some come with upper trim levels.

For example, the standard Ford Bronco Wildtrak comes with the contents of the Sasquatch package. Those who pay more for the Everglades trim level also unlock the Mid package. Finally, opting for a Bronco Raptor means you’ll get a standard Sasquatch package along with all the off-road extras the Raptor comes with.

If buying any Bronco extras interests you, you’ll want to know which packages are suitable for you. Moreover, each has a specific focus so if the features don’t fulfill your needs, skip that one. For example, the Sasquatch package adds more off-road capability. Those uninterested in taking their Bronco off-roading won’t need the upgrade. However, it includes 17-inch Beadlock-capable alloy wheels, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, a short final drive ratio with electronically locking front and rear axles, a lifted suspension, and modified fender flares for those who will drive off-road.

Next, the tech-focused Mid package comes standard on the Bronco Everglades. Buyers gain proximity keyless entry, ambient interior lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and dual-zone automatic climate control. In addition, heated front seats, remote start, rear parking sensors, an upgraded eight-inch touchscreen, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keeping assist are included.

Similarly, the High package builds on top of the Mid package. Moreover, buy it for a 12-inch infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, extra sound deadening, front parking sensors, and mirror-mounted approach lights and spotlights.

Finally, you can’t get the Lux package without the High package. Therefore, buyers get everything from the previous package plus much more. Items like adaptive cruise control, a 10-speaker B&O audio system, navigation, evasive steering assist, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless phone charging pad make up the Lux package.

How much do the optional Bronco packages cost?

According to Ford, the Sasquatch package costs $6,590. As the off-road-oriented package, it’s very costly. Unfortunately, that’s the price of getting high-quality parts installed from the factory to make your SUV off-road ready. Next, the Mid package costs $1,495. Similar to other vehicles, optional packages that include heated seats, remote start, rear parking sensors, and more often cost around this price.

As for the Ford Bronco High package, it’ll run buyers $1,295. It’s deceptively the most affordable option so far. We say deceptive because the Mid package is required, which means the two bundled together will cost $2,790. Finally, the Lux package costs $3,590, making it the second most expensive behind the Sasquatch package. With a premium sound system, driver aids, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, and more, we’re not surprised the Lux package is a bit more costly.

Are any optional 2022 Ford Bronco packages right for you?

Buying a Ford Bronco in 2022 is difficult enough, thanks to the inventory shortage. However, if the opportunity arises, you should know which optional packages are the best for you. For serious off-roaders, the Sasquatch package is a no-brainer. Alternatively, those who just want a more convenient and luxurious experience can buy the other three major packages. With any of them, owners gain access to much more technology and other desirable items.
