The 2022 Toyota RAV4 Limited starts at $35,475. It uses the same 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine as the LE base model. The RAV4 Limited comes standard with heated and ventilated front seating, SofTex-trimmed seats, and a dark brown-accented interior.

The small SUV includes a smart key system, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and a power tilt/slide moonroof with one-touch open and close. It also features front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, an anti-theft system with an engine immobilizer, and a soft-touch dash.

The RAV4 Limited costs $7,030 more than the XLE. It comes with many more creature comforts than the XLE. If more features are what you’re after, the Limited is the better buy. If you want the more affordable option, the XLE is still a great choice.

What comes standard on the Toyota RAV4 XLE?

The 2022 Toyota RAV4 XLE is the second RAV4 trim. It starts at $28,445. The XLE is an upgrade from the base model because it includes a smart key system, push-button start, and keyless entry. It also comes with features that the LE doesn’t have like a blind-spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, two 12-volt power outlets, and black roof rails.

The RAV4 XLE is a step up from the LE, and it’s worth the $1,480 price difference for many consumers. That being said, it the XLE the best RAV4 trim for the money?

Car and Driver recommends the RAV4 XLE Premium. The Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium starts at $31,335. C&D recommends the XLE Premium over other RAV4 trims because of of features like its leather-wrapped steering wheel, power liftgate, and SofTex-trimmed seats. These creature comforts improve the small SUV’s ownership experience long-term.

Which Toyota RAV4 should you get?

The Toyota RAV4 comes in plenty of different trims and configurations for different types of drivers. Toyota offers a hybrid powertain option for the popular small SUV. There’s even a RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid variation of the RAV4.

The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid LE is the RAV4 to get for drivers that want to save big bucks at the pump. The Hybrid LE starts at $29,575. It costs $2,600 more than the gas-powered LE, but the RAV4 Hybrid achieves an incredible 41 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway.
