When it comes to buying a new vehicle there is so much that we need to decide. New or used? What is most important to you? We can check out videos that tell us more about the car, and we can check out websites that tell us how reliable the cars will be, but that doesn’t tell us how actually consumers feel. When you drive a car every day, you know all of its quirks, flaws, and hidden features, and it’s the only way that you can truly get to know a car. Looking to current and previous owners is the best way to find out everything you need to know about a car, and if you’re looking for a new pickup truck, these have two thumbs up from consumers.

Most loved compact pickup trucks

There are a number of different size pickup trucks, but the easy go-to is a compact pickup. There are a lot of good compact pickup trucks on dealership lots this year, but there are some that owners just can’t stop raving about.

The first truck on the list is the 2020 Honda Ridgeline – thought it might surprise you to see a Honda at the top. Starting with the price, owners love how good of truck this is for such a low price tag, and you can buy one brand new without breaking your budget. They offer fair gas mileage, a comfortable ride, and enough practicality to tackle your daily drive to work or your weekend adventure off the beaten path.

Next up is the Ford Ranger – sorry Dodge fans. It’s not the fanciest, best-optioned truck on the streets, but owners are comfortable with what they get for the low price. The Ranger has offers a good driving experience, a comfortable cabin, and several safety features like automatic emergency braking and forward-collision warning, which is just enough tech to keep drivers safe and happy.

Full-sized pickup trucks that owners love to love

There is, of course, a market for full-sized pickup trucks that is just as large, if not bigger, than the compact truck market. Full-sized pickup trucks offer even more space and practicality, and these are the options that owners are loving this year.

Despite its low-reliability ratings on Consumer Reports and it’s seemingly obvious problems, owners are really loving the 2020 Ram 1500 — which isn’t all that surprising. Current owners love to brag about the truck’s overall drive quality, surprisingly responsive acceleration, and off-road abilities.

Reliability isn’t the only thing that owners are loving about the new Toyota Tundra, but it is definitely a big factor. Besides that, the truck is well price for its capabilities, and it comes with a lot of safety features even on the base model.

These cars are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the latest and greatest pickup trucks of the year, but it seems like these owners are even more proud than some others. These trucks are well priced and seem to be just what buyers are looking for. Whether compact or full-sized, there is a pickup truck out there to fit any driver’s needs, but these might just be some of the favorites.
