GMC has a few SUV options to choose from, including the Acadia and the luxurious 2024 GMC Acadia Denali SUV trim.

The 2024 GMC Acadia Denali is due to come out next year, and quite a bit has changed with the new model.

How much is a 2024 GMC Acadia Denali SUV?

GMC hasn’t yet released the price of the 2024 GMC Acadia Denali. The 2023 model costs $48,600 to start, though, so you can expect the 2024 version to be a couple of thousand dollars more, possibly within the $50,000 range.

Of course, that’s just an estimate, but the price difference between the 2023 model and the 2022 version is $2,000, according to Kelley Blue Book.  The new model will likely follow the same pattern.

The base model of the 2023 Acadia, the SLE, starts at $36,800. Upgrading to the SLT will cost you $41,100, while the AT4 model will run you $43,400. These prices are before destination and other charges are added, according to GMC

Acadia Denali design changes

Across the lineup, GMC expanded the measurements of the Acadia, making it 10.6 inches longer and 3.2 inches taller, which allows passengers to enjoy more headroom and legroom. Compared to the 2023 version, it also adds 80% more cargo space behind the third row of seats and has 36% more space for storage when you fold down the third row. The interior will sport a 15-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen as standard equipment.

All trims feature a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which GMC claims will produce 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. Paired with it will be an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2023 version can get 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg when traveling on the highway. We don’t know what the new engine is capable of yet, but no other engine options are available.

On the Denali trim, GMC will have unique exterior trim accents, a signature Denali-branded grille, and available 22-inch machined aluminum wheels. The interior contains laser-etched wood trimmings, chrome accents, and leather-covered heated and ventilated front seats. For available features, you can get a panoramic, pillar-to-pillar sunroof and heated seats for the second row.

Other new items include Active Noise Canceling technology, a Bose sound system with up to 16 speakers, one-touch folding second-row seats, and power-folding third-row seats.

New 2024 Acadia Denali features

All GMC Acadia trims offer the Super Cruise system, which is a hands-free advanced driver assistance system available to be used on more than 400,000 roads in the U.S. and Canada. The model also gets trailering assistance with automatic lane-change capabilities.

As for safety and driver’s aid features, you can expect to get highlights such as:

  • Forward Collision Assist,
  • Front pedestrian and bicycle braking
  • Rear parking assist
  • Follow Distance Indicator
  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Speed Limit Assist
  • Rear Seat Reminder
  • Rear Pedestrian Detection
  • Adaptive Cruise Control

Not all new features are listed above. For example, GMC has implemented a system that offers nine different available camera views to enhance visibility, which is especially helpful when towing up to the maximum of 5,000 lbs with the Acadia.

The 2024 GMC Acadia Denali trim features quite a few changes and is set to come out early next year. With plenty of driver assistance features and measurement changes, this new Acadia model should please many people seeking out a reliable family vehicle for their next adventure
