Firstly, bottom-tier versions of the Acadia use a standard four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive. However, all-wheel drive is optional for every trim level. Next, the optional V6 engine is standard for the Denali trim. Surprisingly, the SLE base model comes well-equipped. Further, items like wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, active noise cancellation, five USB ports, OnStar, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and tri-zone automatic climate control are standard.

Even the GM Pro Safety Plus comes with the SLE trim level. It’s a comprehensive suite of advanced driver aids included with every version of the Acadia SUV. With the suite, owners get automatic emergency braking, front/rear parking sensors, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.

Luxurious Denali upgrades

Few names in the automotive space are as synonymous with luxury as Denali. It’s no different for the 2022 GMC Acadia Denali. Despite being a three-row SUV that’s relatively affordable, even its Denali trim level is well-equipped. On top of a standard V6 engine, it gets a unique grille, 20-inch wheels, and an adaptive suspension.

Furthermore, power-folding mirrors, heated mirrors, a digital instrument panel, a head-up display, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, driver’s seat memory functions, an eight-way power-adjustable passenger’s seat, and a wireless charging pad are standard. Next, two exclusive optional packages unlock with the range-topping trim.

They are the Technology package and the Denali Ultimate package, which requires the tech package. Moreover, features included in the Technology package are a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic braking for the forward collision mitigation system, and a digital rearview mirror. Finally, Tech package buyers can upgrade to the Denali Ultimate package, which features a panoramic sunroof, adaptive suspension dampers, and the Tow package.

Is the 2022 GMC Acadia Denali worth the price?

In conclusion, the 2022 GMC Acadia Denali is worth the money. Although the Acadia never gets too expensive, the Denali model is surprisingly cheap. Furthermore, it provides enough features that the starting MSRP doesn’t seem so bad. It’s far more costly than other Acadia variations but remains below $48K while providing a wide array of luxurious features. Anyone interested in buying everything the 2022 GMC Acadia offers should consider the Denali trim level.
