Which is set to be an EV crossover. More specifications are expected this spring, but the RZ 450e will share its platform with the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra. But, as a Lexus vehicle, this model will likely be more luxurious. And it is also rumored to offer more power, which is something that some buyers may appreciate.
How much will the RZ 450e cost?
The Lexus RZ 450e is suspected to have a starting cost of around $50,000. The MSRP has not been set yet, but because it wears the Lexus badge, expect this EV crossover to have a premium. This Lexus EV will share its platform with the Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra. Both EV models which are coming from the Toyota and Subaru brands.

It’s hard to say exactly when this new Lexus EV will enter production. We expect to hear more as 2022 progresses, and Lexus has stated that it would like to have the RZ 450e on the market for the 2023 model year.
In the current climate, it would be easy to think that delays with this model could happen. Through supply chain issues and other factors, the RZ 450e could be delayed. If you are shopping for a new EV crossover but want a premium experience, this Lexus model may be something worth waiting for. It will be fairly powerful and features standard AWD. Both of which will set it up for success.
