In fact, the 2021 model year of this pickup truck just won the title of best full-size pickup truck resale value from Kelley Blue Book. Furthermore, the Toyota Tundra is actually known to be one of the best full-size used trucks. Reliability, resale value, and durability are all on the list of reasons that Tundra great.

In all truth, the fact that iSeeCars deemed the Toyota Tundra the best full-size used pickup truck isn’t surprising at all. This is well-known model. It’s also famed for its ability to stand the test of time often making it past 200,000 and even 300,000 miles before all is said and done. Of course, there will always be some models with problems, but this is generally a reliable and worthwhile used truck.

We weren’t exactly expecting to see the Chevrolet Silverado 1500

We recently saw the Chevrolet Silverado pop up on some lists which hold the least reliable pickup trucks. So we weren’t exactly expecting the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 to land here. Still, iSeeCars rated it according to reliability and resale value and it made the list as runner up. It’s the second best full-size used pickup truck model according to iSeeCars.

If you can find a well-maintained used Chevrolet Silverado 1500, good chance it’s a great truck. Some prefer the Toyota Tundra while others like the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. But these two pickups have one thing in common. They’re in the top two spots on the iSeeCars list of the best full-size used pickup trucks.

While reliability makes a compelling argument in terms of finding a good used truck, it’s not the only area of consideration. Resale value is also important. iSeeCars reports a 62.0% 5-Year Value Retention for the Toyota Tundra. There’s a 53.6% 5-Year Value Retention for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
