Having enough space and a luxurious interior comes easily for the Lincoln Navigator. The cabin is outfitted with high-end materials, and the legroom in all rows is class-leading.

For 2023, this full-size luxury SUV is priced between $77,635 and $109,120 for the fully-loaded Navigator. All trim levels have the same twin-turbo 3.5L V6 with 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Lincoln offers the 2023 Navigator in three trim levels: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label. There is also an extended-wheelbase version called the Navigator L for even more room.

Even the 2023 Navigator Standard trim comes pretty well-equipped for under $80,000. This includes leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, and a user-friendly 13.2-inch touchscreen. It also comes with forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, and automatic high-beam headlights.

Is the second-best large luxury SUV worth $104,500?

The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover is fresh off a redesign and looks better than ever. Land Rover used the highest-quality materials throughout the cabin, along with extremely comfortable seats. The Range Rover can seat five or seven passengers, depending on the setup. Along with the comfortable interior, the Range Rover is pretty capable off the beaten path. It can also tow up to 7,000 pounds.

This Range Rover was just behind the best large luxury SUV in the rankings but costs almost double. The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover trims range from $104,500 to $218,300. Range Rover trims are SE, Autobiography, First Edition, and the fully loaded SV this year. Land Rover offers three powertrain options, starting with a 3.0L straight six with 395 horsepower or a twin-turbo 4.4L V8 with 523 horsepower. There is also a plug-in hybrid with 434 horsepower.

As expected, the 2023 Range Rover base model still comes generously equipped. Shoppers can choose from both wheelbase lengths, two or three rows of seating, and all powertrain options are available. The list of standard driver-assistance features is very long. Some highlights are blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and forward collision warning with pedestrian detection.

These luxury SUVs aren’t cheap, but that doesn’t matter

The 2023 Lincoln Navigator Black Label is one of the best large luxury SUV trims this year. It comes with four-wheel drive standard, 30-way power-adjustable massaging front seats, and a 28-speaker audio system for $109,255. It comes with almost every available feature and is just generally a fine example of what Lincoln can do. While $110,000 is still a lot of money, it isn’t that outrageous these days.

To get into the top-of-the-line Land Rover Range Rover SV, you’ll have to shell out $193,100 for the short-wheelbase version and $218,300 for the longer one. It comes with some trim-exclusive features like interior colors.

However, is all of that worth the extra cash? Spending $110,000 for the fully-loaded Navigator would give you plenty of luxury and space. That would barely cover the base model of the Range Rover after taxes and fees. The Range Rover makes sense for those with a $218,300 excess to spend. Otherwise, the 2023 Navigator Black Label is about as luxurious as it gets.
