As you’d expect from Land Rover, the 2023 Range Rover is an opulent luxury SUV. The vehicle features elegant curves, sleek lines, and an exterior design that seems to float over the road.

Land Rover offers three powertrain options. The most potent is a 523-hp twin-turbo V8, while the least powerful is an inline-six with a 48-volt hybrid system producing 395 hp. In the middle is a 434-hp plug-in hybrid.

Like previous generations, the 2023 Range Rover offers off-road all-wheel-drive capabilities. Plus, the standard air suspension can lift the SUV a little higher on rougher terrain.

The interior is luxuriously appointed, with high-quality leather and authentic wood. That said, environmentally conscious buyers can opt for more sustainable cabin materials.

In addition, the seating is configurable. Shoppers can choose from four-, five-, or seven-seat arrangements. However, it’s dependent on the body style.

Last, the dashboard has a 13.1-inch infotainment screen and a 13.7-inch digital gauge display. Screens for the back seats are available for an upcharge.

How much does a fully loaded 2023 Range Rover cost?

The SV trim’s long-wheelbase version is the most expensive 2023 Range Rover model. It starts at $161,600, according to Land Rover. Standard features include everything available with the Autobiography trim, such as privacy glass, a sliding panoramic roof, automatic headlights, headlight leveling, and an acoustic laminated windscreen. Also, this model comes with only the V8 engine.

The cost immediately jumps to about $218,000 with SV styling. However, the price could still increase depending on your other design choices. For instance, selecting the SV Intrepid, with multiple exterior styling options, adds $1,800. And exterior color options range from no upcharge to $12,050 extra for Icy White Satin.

As mentioned above, the Range Rover’s seating is configurable, and with the SV, you can choose between a four- or five-seat arrangement. The former is more expensive, and you can stylize interior colors as much as you want.

There are also options such as deployable side steps, a wheel protection pack, and an emergency pack. According to Land Rover’s build estimates, adding the most expensive extras to the long-wheelbase SV could drive the total for a fully loaded 2023 Range Rover to almost $280,000. This estimate excludes some accessories because their prices vary widely and depend upon availability.

Which 2023 Range Rover trim should you buy?

Which 2023 Land Rover Range Rover trim you should buy depends on several factors, such as your budget, intended uses for the SUV, and the size of your family. The SE models are the most affordable in the line-up; they’re also more fuel-efficient thanks to their hybrid powertrains. However, they’re not as luxurious as their higher-priced siblings, and you don’t get the non-seven-seater extended-wheelbase options.

The range-topping First Edition and SV trims offer the highest luxury and styling features, but they come at a premium. Car and Driver recommends the Autobiography trims instead. They’re right in the middle in terms of cost and give you access to the optional luxury features.
