The Ford F-Series is the world’s best-selling truck lineup. It includes the popular full-size Ford F-150 and commercial chassis cab models like the F-650 and F-750, mainly used for construction and maintenance. The F-650 offers multiple powertrain options and a more customizable build than the F-550 but has significantly more capabilities, power, and durability. It also has a quieter and more comfortable cabin than its rivals. If you’re eyeing the latest model, here’s how much you can expect to pay for a fully loaded 2024 Ford F-650.

The 2024 Ford F-650 offers two trims. The base-model SD Gas Pro Loader starts at $67,180. It has a 7.3-liter V8 engine generating 335 hp and 468 lb-ft of torque. This commercial truck also boasts various upgrades that improve its durability and capability.

The SD Gas Pro Loader has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 22,000 to 26,000 pounds. Its front axle weight maxes out at 8,500 pounds, while the rear axle tops out at 13,500 pounds.

Steering wheel-mounted controls, a gauge cluster gas with an electric speedometer, and a radio AM/FM stereo with two speakers are standard equipment in the F-650 base model. Other desirable 2024 F-650 features are air conditioning, a defroster, brakes with traction control, and electronic stability control.

Optional extras include a 110-volt AC outlet, driver-assistance technology package, Wi-Fi 4G LTE hotspot, and rearview camera with mirror display.

Furthermore, Ford offers three cab configurations: the standard cab 114.4-inch BBC, the SuperCab 135.4-inch BBC, and the Crew Cab 149.9-inch BBC.

Because Ford designed the F-650 for commercial use, it doesn’t have a standard truck bed. However, buyers can attach anything to the back if it complies with the truck’s weight limit.

The top trim of the Ford F-650, the SD Diesel Straight Frame, has a starting MSRP of $77,760. That’s $10,000 over the base model. The SD Diesel Straight Frame has almost identical features to the standard model, with the most significant difference being the engines. The higher trim level has a diesel engine instead of the standard gas powerplant.

A 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel engine generates 270 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. That’s 85 fewer horses than the base trim but 232 lb-ft more torque. The top trim also has two optional engines. The first generates 300 hp and 725 lb-ft of torque, while the second harnesses 330 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque.

Another similarity between the base and top trim is they have the same cab configurations, axle weights, and GVWR (although the diesel maxes out at 50,000 pounds, while the gasoline maxes at 37,000 pounds).

However, a fully loaded 2024 Ford F-650 SD Diesel Straight Frame totals over $80,000. Keep reading to find out why.

Ford offers various optional upgrades, including heated mirrors, mud flap holders, daytime running lights, a Wi-Fi hotspot, rearview cameras, and axle weights. Owners can push the rear axle weights to 17,500 pounds and the GVWR to 50,000 for the diesel engine, higher than the gas engine’s 37,000 pounds.

However, the automaker doesn’t list prices for the upgrades on its website and encourages shoppers to request a quote from their nearest Ford dealer. The estimated price for a Ford F-650 SD Gas Pro Loader with destination charges is $69,675. So, with a $2,495 destination charge, the estimated price for a fully loaded 2024 Ford F-650 SD Diesel Straight Frame comes to $80,255.
