The Ford Mustang Mach-E has already been recalled four times thus far. The Most recent Mach-E Recall is due to an unintended acceleration issue. The Mach-E’s unintended acceleration could potentially cause accidents. The recall affects 464 Mach-E electric SUVs (2021 models only).

According to InsideEVs, Ford Sold over 27,000 Mach-E electric SUVs in America in 2021, so a very small percentage of the vehicles were affected by the recall. An over-the-air update is expected to solve the issue for most affected models.

Luckily for Ford, no serious Mach-E accidents have made headlines yet due to the unintended acceleration problem. The Mach-E is no stranger to recalls or issues, but that doesn’t make the electric SUV any less great in the eyes of many consumers.
