Comprehensive results of a recent survey concluded the opinion that drivers who are considered attractive are more likely to buy certain brands of cars in specific colors. Finance Buzz interviewed 1,200 American adults for the survey which was enough to unveil some interesting findings. The survey went on to include driving habits and perceived skill level behind the wheel, but for now, these are the brands and colors attractive people are more likely to buy, according to the survey.

Most attractive people drive black, white, and red cars

Finance Buzz’s survey showed that among the 1,200 applicants, 26-percent said attractive people are likely to drive black cars. A further 25-percent voted white, while 24-percent voted red. The rest dispersed among blue, silver, gray, and other non-specified colors. As it turns out, however, owners of white and black cars are more likely to commit multiple atrocities while driving.

Another part of the survey determined owners of white and black cars are more likely to weave in and out of traffic. They are also more likely to drive under the speed limit, go slow in the passing lane, drive with high beams, drive with poorly secured cargo, and use the horn excessively. White alone qualified for even more ill-advised driving habits. Drivers of white color cars also qualified for receiving the most tickets, be in the most accidents, and were more likely to be pulled over. What’s more, a black color car is less likely to hold its value than a brighter color car.

Nothing but German engineering for America’s most attractive

According to the survey, 24-percent voted BMW as the brand attractive people are most likely to drive. Mercedes-Benz trailed in a not-so-close second at just under 10-percent, with Audi in third at 5-percent. Jeep brought up the rear with just under 3.5-percent. Unfortunately for BMW drivers, they also qualified on top of most of the data surrounding bad driving habits.

BMW drivers are likely to behave in the exact same ways as white car drivers, with the added bonus of cutting off other drivers. The survey also exhibited some contradictory information, where both the best and worst drivers own BMWs. Apparently, there is a correlation between attractive people buying white BMWs and causing all kinds of highway mischief. Drivers most likely to be pulled over, receive tickets, and be in accidents apparently drive BMWs.

The runners-up aren’t far behind. Black cars are second to white cars when it comes to traffic stops, tickets, and accidents. Audis are second to BMWs for the same metric, and for every bad driving behavior that BMW participated in, Audi was right alongside.

Stripped down to nuts and bolts, this survey says that white BMW drivers and black Audi drivers are among the most dangerous, and most attractive drivers on the road. Remember the opinions of 1,200 adults drive this part of the survey. BMW drivers and Audi drivers alike, prove the survey wrong.
