Arnold Schwarzenegger is an action movie actor, and also California’s 38th governor between 2003 and 2011. But to us enthusiasts, we know him for his mega-trucks and SUVs. In spite of his cred with motorcycles and off-road machines, he was involved in yet, another accident this weekend.

This is the second accident we know of involving Schwarzenegger in the last year. While he received no injuries, the bicyclist he hit wasn’t so lucky. However, he may not have been at fault. Three witnesses corroborate that the woman swerved into Schwarzenegger’s path.

The rate of Schwarzenegger’s speed and lack of impairment suggests he might not be at fault. But the same is true for the woman’s situation. Because of these observations, the police are pursuing the incident as a traffic accident, according to TMZ

According to witnesses, the woman complained about pain. But reports indicate she is in stable condition. There is no information about the extent of her injuries. After an interview by police, Schwarzenegger loaded the woman’s bicycle onto the bike rack of his SUV and dropped it off at a bicycle shop in West LA.

Hasn’t Schwarzenegger been in other accidents recently?

In January last year in Los Angeles, Schwarzenegger collided with a Toyota Prius in Los Angeles. His GMC Yukon then proceeded to roll into a Porsche Taycan EV. The Prius had the right of way but, unfortunately, was rolled over by the Yukon. After hitting the Taycan, it then rolled into another car. One of the drivers received injuries, requiring medical attention.

These are not the first car accidents for Schwarzenegger. In 2001, he had another motorcycle accident in Los Angeles. Then, in 2006, he rode a Harley Davidson motorcycle with his son Patrick in a sidecar when he collided with a car.

You might be surprised to know that Schwarzenegger was one of the top 100 most influential people in the world in both 2004 and 2007. The 75-year-old actor and body-builder were at his acting peak as the star in the movie Terminator 2: Judgement Day, which debuted in 1991.

While governor of California, he retired from acting. Afterward, he soon was starring in “The Expendables” in 2012, and then “The Last Stand,” and “Escape Plan,” both in 2013. Eventually, he was back in a new Terminator movie titled “Terminator: Dark Fate,” in 2019.

Schwarzenegger loves large vehicles like the Hummer. He was the first U.S. citizen to purchase a Humvee. He convinced AM General, manufacturers of the Humvee, to produce a street-legal model. It did in 2002, with Schwarzenegger purchasing the first two made.

So a lot of his life centers around cars but also causes him problems. In spite of these circumstances, he still is a bike and truck enthusiast, as is evident by the trials and tribulations involving them.
