What are the 2024 Ford F-150 engines?

The 2024 Ford F-150 has six engine options, but it used to have seven. The standard 3.3-liter V6 engine with 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque was cut after being the most popular option in 2023. 

Most buyers went after the entry-level work truck trim or the XL model with the standard option. It made the truck more affordable for the everyday worker and fleets. The 2023 F-150 started at $34,858, and now the 2024 F-150 starts at $36,570. 

That’s a $1,985 increase before the $1,995 destination fee comes into play. On the one hand, people can be excited about the increased standard power, but on the other hand, that’s a stout price increase. 

The new standard engine is the turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 option with 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. From there, you can opt for the 5.0-liter V8 engine for 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine cranks out 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. 

Don’t forget about the Raptor-specific turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. Also, the Raptor R gets a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 with 700 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque. 

Last but not least, the Ford F-150 Hybrid packs a punch by pairing the turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric motor and a battery pack to generate 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque. 

What’s new for the F-150 Tremor? 

While the new Ford truck stands out with a revised grille design, refreshed headlights, and an enhanced Pro Access tailgate, some of the biggest improvements are for the 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor. 

It features a more striking, unique grille design with Tremor Orange accents. It’s finished with Tarnished Dark Anodized and Carbon Black. Plus, it’s modular and can integrate an LED light bar, brush grand, and a 12,000 lb Warn winch. 

The front clip includes all body panels from the side mirrors forward for an aggressive style that’s paired with side decals and exclusive running boards. The interior has remor Orange accent stitching and embroidered badging. 

The Tremor takes a bit further than the FX4 package for those with off-roading needs that don’t call for Raptor-specific desert racing. It has a locking rear differential, uniquely tuned off-road, extra driving modes, suspension, standard 4×4, and 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires. 

What’s new for the 2024 F-150 Raptor?

The 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor flexes new FOX Dual Live Valve shocks with position-sensitive control standards and new continuously variable rebound controls for better performance on and off the pavement. 

Electronic suspension controls respond to specific Ford off-roading algorithms and changing environments. The algorithms adjust hundreds of times per second. 

Also, the five-link rear suspension has extra long trailing arms, a Panhard rod, and 24-inch coil springs to enhance stability. 

The new modular front bumper has wider tow hook points, modified end caps to expose more front tires, and a new LED light bar attachment. It rides on 37-inch tires with a more aggressive style.
