Are you ready for the brand-new Ford F-150? You can order this popular truck soon, and it’s about to receive mid-cycle updates to provide an updated style, modern tech, and new features. It will make the current model look old, so stay ahead of the curve with the 2024 Ford F-150.
When can you order the 2024 Ford F-150?

Reportedly, the 2024 Ford F-150 ordering bank will open during the afternoon on September 13. Go ahead and put it on your calendar. This is also when the build and price configurator will go live.
Plus, the order book will open one day after the new 2024 model debuts. We can feast our eyes on the refreshed F-150 next week on September 12, during the F-150 Fest at the Detroit Auto Show.
This festival will pay homage to the history of the F-150 with a special presentation. Ford has asked owners of the Heritage Edition to submit photos of their trucks to be featured. This is fitting, as the Heritage Edition will be carried over.
With the ordering banks opening in the fall, it’s safe to expect new models to reach dealerships by the end of the year. Typically, it takes six to eight weeks to build a new pickup truck after its production date.
However, that’s the best-case scenario, and Ford, along with other automakers, has been facing numerous challenges, from the semiconductor shortage supply chain constraints, and rising inflation. Plus, to autoworker strike could cause delays.
What’s new for the 2024 F-150?
The 2024 Ford F-150 has a mid-cycle refresh, so it will have a slightly revised face and rear end. The LED headlights have a new, more confident style, and the taillights have been updated as well.
It’s safe to expect a revised grille, updated bumper designs, revised fender flares, new wheel designs, and special edition colors. The interior has been updated as well with a modern style and new materials.
The tech upgrades may include a new digital guage cluster and larger infotainment screens. Some rumors speculate that the F-150 will have new HVAC controls that blend into a new, more convenient layout.
Typically, mid-cycle refreshes don’t include new engine options or extra power. The standard 3.3-liter V6 engine with 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque will probably carry over.
At the other end of the spectrum, the F-150 Raptor R gets a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 700 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque.
The F-150 Rattler, Tremor, and Heritage Edition should carry over. Plus, the Ford F-150 Lobo could be introduced as a new street performance model.
How much will the 2024 F-150 cost?

Pricing for the 2024 Ford F-150 hasn’t been released, but it could come out once the ordering banks open. The 2023 F-150 starts at $34,585, and the Raptor R takes the price up to $109,145.
These prices don’t include the $1,995 destination fee. Pricing for the 2024 F-150 may increase to cover the costs of upgraded tech and new features. It’s expected to begin around $36,000, and the Raptor R could crest $110,000.
There are tons of trim levels and engine options for buyers to consider and to meet various needs. This is only one of the reasons why the F-150 is so popular. Stay tuned for updates as we continue tracking the F-150 for official news.
