The 2023 Kia Sportage X-Pro Prestige starts at $36,790. It uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine to make 187 horsepower. The compact SUV gets 23 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Kia Sportage X-Pro Prestige comes standard with 12.3-inch dual panoramic displays with navigation and Kia Connect. It includes all-wheel drive and several multi-terrain drive modes. Is the 2023 Kia Sportage X-Pro Prestige worth buying?

The 2023 Kia Sportage X-Pro Prestige comes loaded with standard features, but there are better small SUV options for the money that have a richer off-roading history. Some of the best small off-road SUVs include the Ford Bronco, Subaru Crosstrek, and Jeep Renegade.

The X-Pro Prestige is the Sportage’s stab at a luxurious off-road final trim. While it’s hard to ignore the Sportage’s long list of creature comforts, it isn’t the average off-roader’s first choice for a small SUV…or second choice.
