So, which one do consumers prefer?

Most shoppers are interested in the Mustang Mach-E Premium trim

Among the lineup of 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E trims, the Premium is the most popular among consumers, according to Edmunds. This trim offers a balance of luxury, performance, and affordability.

The Premium has a sophisticated interior equipped with Ford’s latest Sync 4 infotainment system. The centerpiece is a 15.5-inch central touchscreen integrating entertainment, navigation, and connectivity features. It pairs with a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster.

This trim also delivers a fun driving experience thanks to instant torque and exhilarating acceleration. Its electric motors and advanced suspension provide a smooth and comfortable ride, effortlessly absorbing bumps on the road.

Like the other trims, the Premium has a hatch-style trunk, providing 29 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. For additional room, the rear seats can be folded down to accommodate larger items.

In addition, the 2023 Mustang Mach-E Premium offers an optional 310-mile-range battery. However, it’s pricey, adding $7,000 to the base price.

Why do most consumers pick the Premium trim?

The most significant factor driving shoppers’ preference for the Mustang Mach-E Premium trim is likely the perceived value for the price. Within the lineup, the mid-level Premium offers a combination of luxury, performance, and practicality. With its high-end features and spacious interior, shoppers can enjoy an upscale experience without breaking the bank.

However, adding more range to the Premium comes at a considerable cost of $7,000. In that case, we’d recommend the California Route 1 trim. It includes the extended-range battery for only $2,000 more than the Premium.
