Prepare for battle! The 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior could be ready to finally enter the arena. This Nissan Titan trim has been upgraded to enhance its off-roading abilities and looks to take on rivals such as the Chevy Silverado Trail Boss.

According to HotCars, the 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior is gearing up for battle. It first made an appearance at the Detroit Auto Show in 2016, but then it was canceled due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

But now Nissan has decided to bring this concept back to life. This truck will raise the bar against other off-roading rivals like the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. You can already tell by its rugged exterior that it means business.

The Nissan Titan Warrior will carry its clunky box shape over from the concept design. It will also feature similar LED lighting with a modern grille, rear lip spoiler, blacked-out LED taillamps, off-roading specific wheels with chunky tires, and Magma Orange accents around the bumpers and side skirts.

Also, this truck includes functional hood vents, burly skid plates, and a quad-tipped exhaust system that isn’t exactly quiet. The Warrior will announce when it’s near as a tribute to its off-road racing heritage.

How much power does the Titan Warrior have?

The 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior concept has the existing 5.0-liter V8 Cummins turbo diesel engine from 2016 with 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. This setup has been used for modified off-roading variants of Nissan SUVs.

But we could see a few other options. For example, we could see Nissan’s 5.6-liter V8 with 390 hp, and 394 lb-ft of torque make its way under the hood. This would provide a reliable gasoline option.

However, the Titan Warrior may gain a new twin-turbocharged V6 option. It could be a modified version of the 3.5-liter engine that powers the Nissan Pathfinder and Murano. This variant would need more than 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque, though. It could receive a few updates to enhance its low-end torque in this full-size truck.

What will the Warrior interior be like?

The 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior will draw on the concept for inspiration. Despite being designed in 2016, it still looks fresh and modern. However, it could receive a few lavish upgrades to be more comfortable with updated tech.

It’s safe to expect tons of high-quality leather options combined with rugged materials. It should be perfect for daily driving and durable to withstand the mud and debris that comes with off-roading. Best of all, the interior should be easy to clean.

Rumors suggest that we can expect carbon-colored high tolerance fabric and natural leather options with Magma Orange accents and contrast stitching. The dashboard and door panels might be laden with carbon fiber accents with chrome and leather trimming. Also, Nissan mentioned a custom steering wheel that’s constructed from a single block of aluminum.

We haven’t heard anything about new tech features, but we hope the Titan Warrior gains a larger touchscreen, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Nissan Titan Warrior is expected to begin at about $60,000. Other Nissan models may gain Warrior badging, but we will have to wait to learn more. The Warrior may launch by the end of this fall.
