While the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 is far from the most expensive model to wear the prancing horse, it’s still quite an eye-catcher. However, earlier this year, at least one car thief saw this Ferrari parked outside and decided to take it. This particular car is owned by Mama Mia! star Dominic Cooper.

According to The U.S. Sun, the actor parked his sports car outside of his home in North London. While the car did turn up rather quickly, it did so at a junkyard after thieves tried to take it apart. Additionally, this isn’t the first time thieves have targeted this particular actor’s cars.

This stolen Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 starts as the car is parked outside of the actor’s house. According to The U.S. Sun, thieves reportedly hotwired the Italian sports car with relative ease and took off. For context, listings on Hemmings show that this Ferrari is worth between $50,000 and $100,000, depending on its condition.

Aside from this Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 theft, the actor has had a few of his cars stolen in the last year. As a result, thieves were reportedly able to run away with this sports car without anyone noticing.

As you can imagine, stealing an actor’s Ferrari will generate quite a bit of press and attention. British police officers quickly began looking for the vehicle, finding it in a very unusual place.

According to The U.S. Sun, police quickly found the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 50 miles away from the actor’s home. Judging from the photos alone, the car seems to be relatively intact, with most of its hardware still present. However, police reportedly found that thieves broke into the dashboard, and some of its wires had been cut.

If we had to guess, the thieves likely inflicted this damage while stealing the car in the first place. The car itself turned up abandoned at a junkyard where it sat amongst other cars. For now, we don’t know if the thieves abandoned the Ferrari or if they parked it there until they decided their next move. Regardless, hiding a red Ferrari is no easy feat.

Unfortunately for Cooper, this is the fourth car within the last year, most of them being high-value vehicles.

This is the fourth car this actor has had stolen in the last year

While thieves rarely target big-ticket items such as a Ferrari Dino 308 GT4, Cooper has had some terrible luck in the last year or so. This includes having four separate vehicles stolen from his home. As you might imagine, Domonic told The U.S. Sun that he feels these thieves are specifically targeting him.

All in all, thieves have taken Cooper’s Austin-Healey, Range Rover, and Jaguar F-Type. However, it seems the police have only managed to recover the Ferrari. Regardless, it may be time to relocate.
