The Genesis GV70 slots between the all-electric compact GV60 and midsize GV80 in the South Korean luxury automaker’s SUV lineup, where it faces stiff competition from the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Class and BMW X3. Now entering its third year of production for the 2024 model year, the GV70, also available as a separate EV model, has already made a splash as a seriously competent rival to those more established nameplates.

So, how much can car shoppers expect to pay for a new GV70 both in its base guise and top trim with all the bells and whistles? Here’s how much a 2024 Genesis GV70 costs.

2024 Genesis GV70 trim levels and updates

The 2024 Genesis GV70 is available in four trims with a choice of powertrains. The base Standard model is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. A 3.5-liter, twin-turbo V6 is also available to provide a stouter 375 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Both engines pair to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is standard across the range.

New for 2024, the 2.5T models now sport 19-inch wheels as standard, while the top “2.5T” model, the Sport Prestige, includes a host of added equipment like ventilated front seats, remote smart parking assist, and a Lexicon premium sound system as standard. The 3.5T models are now fitted with a more advanced forward automatic emergency braking system and Highway Driving Assist 2, a semi-autonomous adaptive cruise control system.

A Wi-Fi hotspot is also now standard across the range for 2024 models.

The 2024 GV70 starts at $44,900

The 2024 Genesis GV70 has been touted for its value prospects since its introduction, and the 2024 model continues to underscore its bang for the buck. The 2024 GV70 starts at $44,900 MSRP, several thousand less than some of its closest rivals. However, that doesn’t equate to a less luxe experience.

As standard, the GV70’s stylish looks are complimented by 19-inch wheels and LED headlights. Other exterior features include a hands-free liftgate and a fingerprint authentication system to open the doors without a key fob. Inside, the dash is highlighted by an 8-inch driver information display and a 14.5-inch touchscreen with navigation and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. The GV70 sports synthetic leather upholstery with heated front seats plus a nine-speaker sound system.

The base GV70 has a full suite of driver’s aids, including automatic emergency forward braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning with steering correct, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keep assist, and a driver attention warning.

The 2024 Genesis GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige tops the lineup at $67,100

Those seeking more power and luxury can opt for the 2024 Genesis GV70 3.5T models, starting at $57,500 MSRP. Three trims are available: Sport, Sport Advanced, and the range-topping Sport Prestige, which starts at $67,100.

The 3.5T Sport Prestige setup adds a host of luxe amenities like genuine leather upholstery with quilting, leatherette door panels and dash, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, three-zone automatic climate control, a simulated suede headliner, heated second-row seats, sound-deadening rear windows, a Lexicon sound system, interior ambient lighting, and rear side sunshades. The Sport Prestige rides on 21-inch wheels with a limited-slip rear differential. It has additional safety features like evasive steering assist, a head-up display, a surround-view monitor, rear automatic braking, Blind Spot View Monitor, and a rear seat reminder.

Options and accessories for the 2024 GV70

The 2024 Genesis GV70 does not have a long list of available add-ons, as the 2.5T model is offered in four trims and the 3.5T in three guises. However, buyers can deck out their models further with a choice of optional exterior paints ranging from $575 to the $1,500 Makalu Gray Matte or other matte colors available for the 3.5T model.

Some available accessories include a cargo cover ($200), front and rear mudguards ($150), a tow hitch ($500), and illuminated door scuff plates ($395).

A fully loaded GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige model with the most expensive optional paint and every available accessory rings in at $70,185 MSRP.
