The Genesis Electrified GV70, as its name suggests, is the all-electric variant of the GV70 compact SUV from the luxury brand that debuted for the 2023 model year. So, how much can shoppers expect to pay for a new GV70 EV both as an entry-level model and a tricked-out top trim? Here’s how much a fully loaded 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 costs.

The 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 starts at $66,450

The Genesis Electrified GV70 is just in its second year of production. As such, the model has no significant updates in its sophomore campaign in the electric compact luxury SUV fray.

Two trims are available for the Electrified GV70, Advanced and Prestige, with pricing starting at $66,450 MSRP. All models are motivated by dual electric motors and, therefore, all-wheel drive, with a total power output of 483 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The 77.4-kWh battery pack offers an EPA-estimated driving range of 236 miles on a full charge.

Genesis claims about 7 hours is required for a 10 to 100% charge using a standard 240V outlet. Standard DC fast charging can replenish the batteries from 10 to 80% in 73 minutes at 50kW or in just 18 minutes at 250kW, the manufacturer claims. Also standard is a two-way charging system allowing buyers to power other items, like appliances or other EVs.

The Electrified GV70 has a long list of amenities in its base Advanced trim. For starters, the exterior sports 20-inch wheels, an adaptive suspension with road scanning, and a hands-free liftgate.

The cabin is highlighted by a 14.5-inch touchscreen and 8-inch digital gauge cluster, tri-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and an eight-speaker audio system. Connectivity includes wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, the Genesis Digital Key smartphone system, and navigation.

Lastly, the Electrified GV70 Advanced comes with an extensive suite of standard safety features and driver’s aids. They include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency forward braking, rear automatic braking, a self-parking system, a surround-view monitor, blind-spot warning with steer assist, rear cross-traffic warning, a driver attention warning, and lane-keep assist.

The Electrified GV70 Prestige starts at $73,250

The Prestige trim tops the 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 range and adds $6,800 to the base price for a $73,250 MSRP. Upgrades include Nappa leather upholstery, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, a microfiber suede headliner, active noise cancellation, manual rear door shades, and a Lexicon sound system with 15 speakers. A head-up display and a larger 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster are also standard.

Options and accessories for the new Electrified GV70

The 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 requires a significant premium, about $20,000, over the base non-electric GV70. However, with just two trims and limited options and accessories available, buyers should expect to pay near MSRP for the electrified variant.

One area in which many buyers should expect to pay more is exterior paint. Just one color, Alta White, is standard, with six optional hues offered for $575, along with the $1,500 Matterhorn White Matte paint.

Limited accessories are available. Some notable add-ons include a tow hitch ($500), rear mudguards ($75), a cargo cover ($200), illuminated scuff plates ($395), and roof rail cross bars ($450).

A fully loaded 2024 Electrified GV70 Prestige with Matterhorn White Matte Paint and every available accessory rings in at $78,005, which includes destination charges.
