The Ford F-450 is a sizeable player in Ford’s lineup of heavy-duty pickup truck models, which is branded under the Super Duty umbrella alongside the F-250 and F-350. So, how much can those who need to move figurative mountains expect to pay for a new Ford F-450, from its baseline trim to its top level offering? Here’s how much a fully loaded 2024 Ford F-450 costs.

The 2024 Ford F-450 starts at $59,455 MSRP

The 2024 Ford F-450 is available in six trims with prices starting at $59,455 MSRP.

All F-450s are powered by a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine. The base engine develops 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. A “High Output” version of the engine is also available that increases those figures to 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb.-ft. Either engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission with selectable drive modes in 4X4 models. All but the base model is 4X4 as standard.

The F-450 is only available with an 8-foot box and dual rear wheels.

Standard exterior features of the 2024 F-450 include automatic headlights, manual telescoping and folding trailer/tow side mirrors, a tailgate with power lock, dual tow hooks, and LED roof marker/clearance lamps. A 2.5- or 3.-inch trailer hitch receiver, exhaust brake, 19.5-inch wheels, and keyless entry are also standard.

The cabin features vinyl upholstery with a 40/20/40 split front bench, an 8-inch touchscreen and 4.2-inch digital driver’s display, a four-speaker audio system, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Safety features include trailer sway control, hill start assist, trailer brake controller, and roll stability control.

The F-450 Limited tops the range at $104,030

The Limited trim is the ultimate 2024 Ford F-450 with an MSRP of $104,030.

Highlights of the F-450 Limited include the High Output turbo diesel engine, a dual-panel power moonroof, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, a Bang & Olufsen 14-speaker sound system, onboard scales with smart hitch, and heated/ventilated front seats.

Additional upgrades include a power tailgate with a camera, Ford’s Reverse Sensing System, a tailgate step, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, power-deployable running boards, a remote tailgate release, and a head-up display.

Additional convenience features include Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, a keyless entry pad, a universal garage door opener, dual 120V power outlets, navigation, a wireless charging pad, a 2-kW onboard generator, remote start, and more.

Safety features also get a bump with a lane-keep assist system, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane centering, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree view camera system, and trailer camera compatibility.

Options and accessories for the 2024 Ford F-450

As with most trucks, the tailoring options for the 2024 Ford F-450 are seemingly endless, and it starts with the selection of cab size. The F-450 Super Duty is available as a single cab or crew cab. The single cab is only available on the XL and XLT models, but those models can be upgraded to a crew cab for an additional $5,000.

All but the Limited trim can be had with High Output turbo diesel for an additional $2,500 — while it’s standard on the top model.

A bevy of optional packages are available for the F-450, ranging from a 360-degree camera ($1,150), the FX4 Off-Road Package ($495), platform running boards ($445) on models that do not have them as standard, a box side storage compartment ($1,695), and more.

A 2024 Ford F-450 Limited with the FX4 Off-Road Package, a retractable tonneau cover, a retractable bed side-step, and a lockable console rings in at $109,850 MSRP with destination.
