The Mercedes EQS has been around for a while. Though beloved, the 2024 Mercedes-Maybach version is a huge improvement in all the ways that matter to buyers. According to the automaker, this ultra-luxurious EV SUV is all-wheel drive and uses two permanently excited synchronous motors. Power exists in excess with the Maybach EQS as it has a maximum output of 649 and a torque of 700 lb-ft.  It accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 4.4 seconds.

Of course, any awesome new EV SUV needs an impressive range to stand out. With the 2023 Mercedes-Maybach EQS, the vehicle can go more than 370 miles on a single charge. Regarding charging, the Mercedes can gain up to 136 miles after only 15 minutes of DC charging. The vehicle can charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes with the use of DC fast chargers, making this EV SUV super convenient.

This is also a comfortable SUV to both drive and be a passenger in. It comes standard with the AIRMATIC air suspension with continuously adjustable damping ADS+. In addition to being comfortable, this large EV SUV has a similar turn radius of a compact SUV as it has a turning circle of 11.0 instead of 11.9. This is thanks to the rear wheels being able to turn up to 10 degrees. In addition to the regular DYNAMIC select driving modes, this one has a special Maybach mode, which replaces the usual comfort mode.

The Maybach EQS interior is beyond belief

The 2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS has a top-of-the-line interior worthy of royalty, which the automaker calls the fusion of avant-garde and traditional. In the front is a standard MBUX hyper screen with “zero layer” and three seamlessly connected screens. It also features unique Mercedes-Maybach start-up animations. Also, while in the previously mentioned Maybach mode, the instrument cluster is animated. Other appearance settings for the unique screen are discreet and sporty. It has three modes, which are navigation, assistance, and service.

Rear passengers of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS have two 11.6-inch displays housed on the headrests. Additionally, backseat passengers can set the navigation destination, which can be helpful for several reasons. Aside from being super high-tech, the EQS has a lavish look with its Maybach exclusive Nappa leather in warm colors. Buyers can also choose the Maybach MANUFAKTUR exclusive Nappa leather in crystal white/ silver gray pearl. The Maybach emblem can also be seen throughout the SUV.

The EQS Exterior is exquisite

The exterior of the all-new 2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS is both flashy and upscale. Featuring Maybach’s signature two-tone color scheme, it’s sure to turn heads as it zooms down the road. Though the concept version featured a set of 24-inch wheels, the production model has options for either 21 or 22-inch wheels. Overall, the outside of the Mercedes-Maybach EQS has an unforgettable look, especially when viewed from the front.

This is a vehicle that has some out-of-this-world features. It sets the tone for what an ultra-luxurious SUV should be. Not only does the inside feature that advanced infotainment screen, but the car offers massage chairs, including for the calves. The automaker didn’t announce the price this morning, but one can assume it will start around $200,000. This vehicle has much more than meets the eye.
