Does the 2020 Forester have the acceleration problem?

The 2015 and 2019 Subaru Forester were part of a group of Subarus with a big issue. Several owners reported a sudden acceleration when trying to park their vehicles. According to Car Complaints, the lawsuit claimed the “2012-2018 Subaru Forester, 2015-2019 Subaru Legacy and 2015-2019 Subaru Outback vehicles have defects that cause sudden unintended acceleration.”

Electrical troubles

Certain electrical features of the 2020 Subaru Forester cause trouble trouble, too. One owner complains that the hatchback door, while open, drains an excess of amps from the compact SUVs electrical system. Even after other electrical components have powered down to preserve battery life.

In addition to this draining problem, there is trouble with the heated seats. Apparently, the seats get so hot that they burn drivers after prolonged use of 15-30 minutes. Not a fun problem.
