It’s no surprise that Honda’s cars are reliable. However, some Honda cars are at the intersection of affordable and long-lasting. In iSeeCars’ “Best Used Cars for the Money” study, four of the automaker’s 10-year-old models, like the Honda Civic Coupe, promise more than 200,000 miles of lifespan for less than $15,000. Here are Honda’s affordable marathoners, like the Honda Accord.

Do Hondas last long?

Hondas are long-lasting vehicles, with many of the marque’s models from the last 10 years pushing well beyond 200,000 miles. For instance, iSeeCars says that the Honda Civic Coupe has a potential lifespan of around 226,120 miles.

That doesn’t mean a 10-year-old Civic Coupe is limited to less than 250,000 miles. The lifespan figures refer to average odometer readings. The Honda Civic Coupe isn’t alone, either; the venerable Honda Accord has a potential lifespan of about 226,168 miles. Moreover, the Honda Fit and Civic Sedan are among the Honda cars that last the longest. For instance, the Honda Fit has a potential lifespan of about 207,231 miles, and the Civic has an average of around 205,335 miles.

Which is the best Honda car?

Depending on your requirements, the Accord, Civic, or Fit might best suit your needs. For instance, the Accord and Civic are reliable, long-lasting sedans that iSeeCars says will last longer than 200,000 miles with proper care and maintenance. Moreover, the Honda Civic Coupe had the third lowest cost per 1,000 miles of the top 20 in the study. Specifically, a Honda Civic Coupe costs around $108 per 1,000 miles, or about $49 less than the industry average for 10-year-old cars.

Moreover, the now-discontinued Honda Fit ranks as a solid 10-year-old option. Moreover, in iSeeCars’ lifespan study, the Honda Fit made the list of the longest-lasting hatchbacks. Also, with a cost per 1,000 miles of just $112, the Fit is a close competitor for the Civic and other sensible sedans, coupes, and hatchbacks.

Is a Honda Accord a cheap car?

According to iSeeCars, 10-year-old Accords have an average price of around $13,437 and a price of $118 per 1,000 miles. On the list of the 20 best cars for the money, the Accord snagged the number seven spot right behind the Fit and above the Ford Fusion. Moreover, Kelley Blue Book (KBB) says that a used 2012 Honda Accord LX with average mileage could cost as little as $9,503.

What car will last the longest?

Toyota outperformed Honda cars and every other automaker in the iSeeCars lifespan study. Toyota topped each segment list, including the longest-lasting SUVs, trucks, hybrids, minivans, and cars. In terms of sedans, the Toyota Avalon took the top spot on the list of the longest-lasting vehicles by nearly 15,000 miles of potential lifespan.

Also, the Avalon took the number five spot of the best cars for the money. Specifically, a 10-year-old Toyota Avalon costs about $111 per 1,000 miles with an average price of $15,818.
