2024 Subaru Crosstrek gets new looks, no stick shift
The most significant update so far for the 2024 Subaru SUV model lineup is the new Crosstrek. The 2024 Crosstrek has been fully redesigned with a new appearance and new features.
Just a quick glance shows how extensively Subaru has restyled the Crosstrek. It has an all-new front fascia, a redesigned rear end, a sleeker side profile, and plenty of black plastic cladding (in keeping with Subaru’s recent design trends).
Unfortunately, the arrival of the redesigned third-generation Crosstrek also means the loss of manual-transmission Crosstrek in America.
Subaru hasn’t announced the 2024 Forester yet
We don’t have any details about the 2024 Forester yet, though rumors point to an expected redesign.
Torque News reports that a complete visual update is expected for the 2024 Forester. Subaru last redesigned the popular Forester for the 2019 model year. It’s hard to believe it’s been almost five years since that announcement.
2024 Subaru Outback gets more standard features
The 2024 Outback will get only modes updates from the previous year, but those updates include an increase in value via more standard features across the board.
All 2024 Outback models but the base trim now come standard with the 11.6-inch STARLINK Multimedia system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard for every trim level.
2024 Subaru Ascent continues with last year’s updates
Subaru just redesigned the Ascent for the 2023 model year, so the 2024 model will stay pretty much the same.
The 2023 Ascent redesign included a major appearance refresh that met a mixed response from critics. Whether for good or not, the 2024 Ascent will keep its controversial looks.
