How much does the 2024 Chevy Trax cost?

The 2024 Chevy Trax starts at $21,495. That’s cheaper than the Ford Maverick and the destination fee is included with that price.

Before the destination fee, the MSRP is $20,400. The top-spec ACTIV trim takes the price up to $23,900. It’s impressive for the most luxurious model to start under $24,000.

It has a standard 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in about 8.5 seconds, which is impressive for the tiny SUV class.

If you can get past the moderate acceleration, then the biggest drawback is the fact that it’s not available with all-wheel drive.

The Trax gets an EPA-estimated 28 mpg in the city and up to 32 mpg on the highway, making it pretty darn efficient.

What comes with the 2024 Trax?

The 2024 Chevy Trax LS includes:

  • 17-inch steel wheels
  • LED headlights
  • An 8.0-inch infotainment screen
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
  • A four-speaker audio system
  • A wi-fi hotspot
  • Keyless entry
  • Forward collision mitigation
  • Lane departure warning
  • Lane-keeping assist
  • Automatic high beams

Moving up in trim levels provides access to heated seats, a heated steering wheel, 19-inch wheels, a sunroof, a wireless charging pad, roof rails, push-button start, remote start, heated mirrors, an 11-inch infotainment system, a digital gauge cluster, blind spot warning, and adaptive cruise control.

Other features that bolster its value include plenty of space. There is enough room for four adults to relax in the cabin. No one will be cramped in the rear during road trips and adventures around town.

The cargo capacity is excellent for the class. The Trax provides 25.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and up to 54.1 cubic feet total.

For a compact SUV, the Trax is big on value. It should be on your shortlist for an affordable daily driver.
