According to Electrek, a nearby battery facility recently opened in Bibb County, Alabama, to supply the batteries for the electric Mercedes-Benz models. This new facility will create 600 new jobs in the area.

The battery production process is carbon-neutral

The EQS SUV should follow the same path. We also know that the new EQE and EQG electric luxury SUVs are on the way. They should arrive after the new EQS SUV reaches the market.

According to Engadget, a 56-inch MBUX Hyper screen dominates the dashboard and spans the entire cabin.

Passengers in the EQS SUV can watch a video while the vehicle is moving without distracting the driver. Suppose the onboard cameras detect the driver trying to steal a look at the video playing on the passenger screen. In that case, the display automatically dims to dissuade them from taking their focus off the road.

Keeping battery and vehicle production local makes sense for the automaker, but it also makes sense for consumers. Buying the new Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV or any other electric luxury vehicle from this brand will receive the greatest benefits from the federal government.

According to Fox Business, the tax credit for an electric vehicle built in the United States, with parts sourced here, by a company with union employees receives the most significant tax benefits. This new battery plant allows Mercedes-Benz to check all of these boxes. This increases the tax credit to $12,500 for qualifying electric vehicles.

For years, some consumers only searched for the American Made label and drove domestically built vehicles. Even though that changed with new generations, this label is extremely attractive for consumers ready to drive the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV. These drivers will have a luxury SUV from one of the most highly respected names in the industry. This leads to the benefits of the federal tax incentives for the vehicle manufactured locally. This makes the American Made label more attractive than ever.
