One step up is the XLT, starting at about $42,000.

Then there’s the Lariat, with a starting MSRP of just over $57,000.

After that is the Tremor, one of the F-150’s dedicated off-road trims. It starts at about $61,000.

Then there’s the King Ranch, which starts at around $63,000.

After the King Ranch is the Platinum, starting at about $65,000.

The second-most expensive F-150 trim in the lineup is the Raptor, another dedicated off-roader. The Raptor starts at about $77,000.

Finally, the most expensive F-150 trim is the Limited, starting at about $85,000.

In terms of power, the F-150 starts with a 3.3-liter V6 making 290 hp, but buyers can choose from many engine options. Ford even offers a hybrid variation for the 2023 model year.

Does the 2023 Ford F-150 have wireless Apple CarPlay, and which trims include it?

Those 2023 Ford F-150 options will increase the price, but thankfully, wireless Apple CarPlay is a standard feature. All F-150 trims have Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment system, providing wireless Apple CarPlay. In addition, F-150 trims above the base-model XL get an upgraded Sync 4 version with voice control.

Apple CarPlay allows users to connect their iPhone to their vehicle and use their phone’s features through the car’s infotainment system. Standard Apple CarPlay requires a USB lightning cable to connect their iPhone to the vehicle, but wireless Apple CarPlay allows wireless connectivity through Wi-Fi. This feature can make the driving experience more pleasant because it lets users easily access their favorite iPhone apps, such as Apple Music, Messages, and Google Maps.

In addition, Apple CarPlay will see a major update soon, Business Insider reports. Ford has partnered with Apple on this update, and it should be available by late 2023. The update will allow drivers to customize their F-150’s dashboard. Folks can also add widgets from their iPhone to the vehicle’s digital display, including navigation and smart home device control.

The new F-150 boasts other tech features

In addition to including wireless Apple CarPlay, Ford’s Sync 4 also provides Android Auto as a standard feature in all 2023 Ford F-150 trims.

Also, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot is standard across all F-150 trims. The truck starts with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, but buyers can upgrade to a 12-inch.

Additionally, the 2023 Ford F-150 offers numerous smart safety features. For example, automatic emergency braking is standard. Optional advanced driver-assistance systems include lane departure warnings and adaptive cruise control.
