The 2021 Tahoe is a living room on wheels. Not only is this year’s redesigned model 7 inches longer than before, but it’s also far more spacious than previous model years and comes stocked to the brim with top-notch features. And while driving around a living room might not sound so appealing, you can be sure that this year’s new Chevy Tahoe is nothing short of perfection.

The 2021 Tahoe is as spacious as ever

While this year’s Tahoe retains its three-row configuration, it’s roomier than ever before. Unlike previous model years, this year’s Tahoe rides on an independent rear suspension that improves ride quality while also providing ample amounts of added space to give this year’s Tahoe that true living room feel.

Hop into the third-row of this SUV, and you’ll find that this year’s model added 10 additional inches of legroom. Its first and second rows are just as roomy. They can be had as your choice of a bench or two captain’s seats too.

The 2021 Tahoe offers plenty of cargo space as well. According to Road Show, cargo space in the 2021 Tahoe is up 66% behind the third row. Meaning, you’ll have an impressive 25.5 cubic feet of space to work with.

Space isn’t all the 2021 Tahoe has to offer either. When it comes to maximizing that available space, the Tahoe knows just how to please. Opt for features like an available power sliding center console, and enjoy a secure storage drawer designed for keeping your valuables safe.

2021 Tahoe interior features

The 2021 Tahoe is no stranger to luxurious interior features. Whether you opt for the base LS or the Tahoe High Country, this year’s model can be had with a long list of sought after amenities.

When it comes to tech features, the 2021 Tahoe doesn’t make any compromises. Standard on all models is a 10.2″ diagonal infotainment screen. For a truly tech-savvy ride, treat yourself to features like an available class-leading 15-inch head-up display and an available built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection boasting wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto compatibility.

For the first time, Chevy has also equipped the Tahoe with Alexa. Built right into the vehicle, Amazon’s handy assistant can help you with everything from adding to your grocery list to getting you directions to your next destination.

As for one of its living room like qualities? This year’s Tahoe is available with a rear-seat media system that makes keeping backseat passengers occupied and entertained easier than ever.

Who should buy this lavishly outfitted SUV?

The 2021 Tahoe is available in a half-dozen trims, ranging from the base LS to the more lavishly outfitted High Country. With such a variety of configurations to choose from, along with its roomy interior and long list of features, the 2021 Tahoe is an excellent choice for families.

This year’s Tahoe isn’t the only SUV giving off living room vibes though. Vehicles like the Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, and the Toyota Land Cruiser are all comparable to the 2021 Tahoe. Vehicles like the Honda Pilot and Kia Telluride can also compete with the Chevy Tahoe. They’re also much more competitively priced than this year’s Tahoe.

When it comes down to it, the 2021 Tahoe is a high-class SUV designed with your family’s automotive needs in mind. From its spacious interior to its tech-savvy features, you can’t go wrong when choosing this living room on wheels.
