The Nissan SUV and crossover lineup is rather extensive and has something for everyone. New and old and of all shapes and sizes, the SUV and crossovers from the Japanese automaker have a largely great reputation. It might be difficult to keep track of which one is which. We’ll break down all Nissan SUV and crossover names for your convenience.

The 2021 Nissan Kicks crossover is affordable

The smallest offering in the Nissan lineup that isn’t a sedan, the Nissan Kicks is also the most affordable. Other vehicles comparable to the Kicks are the Ford Ecosport, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Venue. It’s a small vehicle but it packs more of a punch than most would expect. It comes with a standard 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 122 horsepower.

The starting price for the crossover is $19,600, but its two higher trims aren’t much more expensive. The base S model is followed up with the SV and SR trims, which cost $21,450 and $22,140, respectively. Each gets 33 combined mpg and has seating for up to five passengers. Additionally, the top trim is the only one with the SR Premium Package, which includes Bose audio, Prima-Tex seat trim, heated seats and steering wheel, and more.

The 2021 Rogue SUV is an IIHS top safety pick

With a starting price of just $26,050, the Nissan Rogue is an affordable small SUV. Comparable models from other brands include the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4. It comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of safety technology to keep passengers safe. The Rogue also has available all-wheel drive, but it does not come standard with every model.

The Rogue comes in four different trim levels, the most expensive of which is called Platinum. Starting at $35,830, the Rogue Platinum comes with ProPilot Assist with Navilink, front-wheel drive, and a combined 29 mpg. The 181 horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is nothing to get excited about, but it’s serviceable for most people. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay comes standard in the Rogue Platinum top trim level.

2021 Nissan Murano makes 260 horsepower

Though the Murano doesn’t have the strongest fuel economy in its class, its 260 horsepower might make it worth your while. For many potential buyers, the 20 city and 28 highway mpg will be enough to turn away and go back to hybrid or electric options. Another Nissan model that comes with standard FWD, Intelligent AWD is available for an extra cost.

The same four trim levels as the Rogue make up the Murano lineup. In fact, the two share a ton of similarities, except for a minor size difference. The top trim Murano Platinum comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of producing up to 260 horsepower but starts at $44,360. The dual-panel panoramic moonroof and heated and cooled front seats are also major selling points.

The 2021 Nissan Pathfinder is a bit more expensive

At least for base models, the previously mentioned crossovers and SUVs have all been affordable. The Pathfinder’s bottom trim is close, but it gets a bit expensive. Especially for the top Platinum model, which starts at $46,540. However, its starting price of $33,680 is much better than its closest competitor, the Honda Pilot, which starts at $36,830.

The Nissan Pathfinder Platinum comes with 2WD and has optional 4WD. The standard 3.5-liter DIG V6 engine produces 284 hp and averages a combined 23 mpg. The top trim is fitted with extra features like a panoramic moonroof, wireless charger, and a Bose Premium Audio System. With destination fees added, it ends up totaling $47,715.

Nissan’s luxury brand, Infiniti sells a nearly identical SUV to the Armada, the QX80. The luxury verison starts at $70,600 for the cheapest model available, while the Armada is $48,900. The Armada maintains a towing capacity of 8,500 pounds, and it comes with a V8 engine. With the second and third row seats folded down, it even offers 92.6 cubic feet of cargo space.

The 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine makes 400 horsepower, and the Armada is filled with technology. Inside are Apple CarPlay, an available Wi-Fi hotspot, and NissanConnect services. It newly comes with a 12.3 inch widescreen color touchscreen display on the dashboard, making it easy to see and use apps. The most expensive model is the Platinum 4WD, which starts at $68,300 and comes with an entertainment system, heated and cooled seats, 22-inch dark-finished wheels, and more.

It comes in three different trim levels, the cheapest of which is the Venture+, which starts at $38,450. Although, it is rumored that Nissan will add at least one more trim level to the lineup before the official release.

The Ariya comes with standard FWD, a 300 mile driving range, and more. The 238 hp and 7.2 second 0 to 60 time is all thanks to its AC Synchronous Motor. The details on the battery and power have not been released, but will be closer to availability.
