The Toyota Camry is a stalwart midsize sedan with a strong reputation. It’s well-known as a safe, reliable, and practical sedan, and the 2024 model upholds that reputation. The Camry is also famous for being a great value. Even going all the way up to the top trim gets you a good deal on a practical, well-equipped sedan that won’t break the bank.

Let’s look at the cost of the 2024 Toyota Camry and what you can expect to pay for a fully-loaded version. To clarify, we’re talking specifically about the non-hybrid versions of the Camry.

What price does the 2024 Toyota Camry start at?

The 2024 Toyota Camry starts at $26,420. That gets you the base LE trim. The base model is powered by a 203-hp four-cylinder engine with a combined fuel economy rating of up to 32 mpg. Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ safety tech suite. This bundles automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and road sign assist.

Front-wheel drive is standard, but AWD is a $1,400 option.

However, many Camry shoppers opt for the mid-range SE trim starting at $27,960. The SE model still uses the same four-cylinder engine as the base model but adds many desirable features while keeping the pricing modest. It has a sporty appearance package with bigger wheels, SofTex faux leather seats, and a sport-tuned suspension system.

How much is a fully-loaded 2024 Toyota Camry XSE V6?

The 2024 Toyota Camry gets pricier when you upgrade to the 301-hp V6 engine. The cost of entry for the V6 is $33,485, which gets you the sporty TRD model. However, the price climbs higher than that in the top XSE V6 trim, which starts at $36,845.

The XSE V6 is well-equipped with standard features, including a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch gloss black wheels, dual exhaust with quad tips, leather-trimmed seating, heated front seats, a Sport drive mode, and a 9-inch infotainment system with a JBL nine-speaker audio system.

The price of the XSE V6 trim can climb even higher with options. The optional two-tone Midnight Black Metallic roof with the Wind Chill Pearl or Supersonic Red paint options adds $925. Additional options include a heated steering wheel, a surround-view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, and navigation. If you add every available option, the MSRP comes to $39,590, plus the $1,095 destination fee for all Camry models.

There’s just one downside of the Camry XSE V6. All-wheel drive is, unfortunately, not available with the V6 engine. For this reason, a four-cylinder Camry with AWD may be a better buy for drivers in snowy climates.

The reported value of a new Camry

A fully-loaded 2024 Toyota Camry for around $40,000 is not a bad deal. The combination of premium features, rock-solid reliability, and surprisingly muscular performance make it an appealing alternative to a more expensive luxury sedan. However, if you want something even fancier, there’s always the Lexus ES, and for a bigger option that still offers great excellent fuel economy ratings, the new Toyota Crown is a fine choice.
