The Lexus RX is available as a gas-only, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid midsize luxury SUV, with the RX Hybrid serving as the middle ground in price between the three models. The base 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid starts at $51,800 MSRP

The Lexus RX was revamped with new styling and technology for the 2023 model year, and as such, few updates have been made for the 2024 model. Cloudburst Gray joins the exterior paint lineup, and Copper Crest is now available on Premium and F Sport Performance models.

The 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid is available in five trims — the base 350h, 350h Premium, 350h Premium+, 350h Luxury, and 500h F Sport Performance — with prices starting at $51,800 MSRP.

RX350h models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor for a total output of 246 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque and mated to a continuously variable transmission. The RX500h has a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine and electric motor for 366 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. All RX Hybrid models are fitted with standard all-wheel drive.

The base RX350h rides on 19-inch wheels. Other standard exterior features include LED exterior lights, heated exterior mirrors, a power liftgate, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

The cabin features synthetic leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, reclining 40/20/40-split rear seats, ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, a 12-speaker audio system, and a power-adjustable steering wheel. Standard connectivity includes a 9.8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and SiriusXM radio.

The RX350h includes the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite of driver aids. That includes adaptive cruise control, a lane-keep system, automatic forward emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and automatic high beams.

The range-topping RX500h F Sport Performance starts at $63,800

Those wanting to up the luxury features of the 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid and add a boost of power can opt for the top model, the RX500h F Sport Performance. The most powerful RX Hybrid starts at $63,800 MSRP.

The RX500h adds rear steering, six-piston aluminum front brake calipers, an adaptive variable suspension, and performance dampers to complement the model’s added power. Additional upgrades include perforated leather-trimmed upholstery, eight-way adjustable sport front seats, aluminum pedals, Dark Graphite aluminum trim, 21-inch Matte Black wheels, a unique front fascia and rear valence, and a head-up display.

Options and accessories for the 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid

Optional packages for the 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid are dependent on the trim. Still, all models can be had with cost-added exterior paint and a host of accessories, including a tow hitch receiver ($980), running boards ($725), or a cargo basket ($599).

The base RX350h can be had with the Cold Weather Package ($250), which includes a heated steering wheel and windshield wiper de-icer. The Technology Package ($350) consists of a wireless phone charger and digital key, the latter requiring a subscription following a three-year free trial. A power moonroof and roof rails can be added for $1,350.

Available on mid-range models, the Convenience Package ($1,670) adds a panoramic view monitor, a stop-and-go adaptive cruise control feature, and an automatic parking system. The Technology Package includes a digital rearview mirror, digital key, and head-up display for $1,375. Also available are 21-inch wheels ($1,640), a 21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system ($1,160), or a hand-free liftgate with the tow package.

Upper models can be fitted with a 14-inch touchscreen ($1,105), a panoramic glass roof ($500), or heated and ventilated rear seats ($1,230).

A fully loaded 2024 Lexus RX500h F Sport Performance with optional exterior paint and every available options package rings in at $73,675 MSRP. This does include a host of additional available accessories.
