Health care workers, essential employees, and other staff are working round the clock, to ensure the wellbeing of others to prohibit the further spread of COVID-19. Understandably, personal vehicle maintenance might not be top of mind. Mazda wants to help ensure all health care workers, not only Mazda customers, can be taken care of as well as they are taking care of all of us.

Mazda Offers Free Auto Services to Health Care Workers

During this unprecedented time, Mazda North American Operations and its dealer network is working to honor the selfless dedication of the nation’s health care workers. In the spirit of togetherness, Mazda announced the Essential Car Care program. This program will invest a minimum of $5 million of service costs, by offering U.S. healthcare workers a free oil change and enhanced vehicle cleaning.

To ensure the highest standards of safety for healthcare workers and essential employees, dealers participating in the Essential Car Care initiative will commit to vehicle cleaning of high-touch interior and exterior surfaces using Mazda and EPA-approved cleansers.

Inspired by Mazda dealers who implemented similar programs for healthcare workers locally, Mazda quickly developed a nationwide plan to partner with its dealer network to invest in this initiative honoring healthcare heroes across the U.S.

“Mazda dealers prioritize giving back to the communities in which they operate. In this challenging time, we want to do what we can to support our local healthcare workers. We deeply appreciate all they have done and will continue to do in the fight against COVID-19.”

Jim McDonald, Mazda National Dealer Advisory Council Chairman
