According to CarComplaints.com, the worst QX60 model year is the 2017 QX60. The worst problems tracked by the site were a transmission shudder in the 2014 model year, a transmission failure on the 2015 model, and oil sludge from the 2017 model year. The 2020 model year had no complaints registered on CarComplaints. Both the 2021 and 2022 model years are not listed on the site.

The Infiniti QX60’s reliability ranges from poor to average based on the information gathered from Consumer Reports and CarComplaints.com. U.S. News & World Report calls the 2022 BMW X4 the most reliable luxury SUV. The Lexus RX350 and Lincoln Corsair are also included in the top three most reliable luxury SUV models.

Car and Driver gave the 2022 Infiniti QX60 a 7.5/10 overall score. MotorTrend gave the QX60 a 7.9/10 overall score. The luxury SUV model clearly has its strengths. Reliability isn’t one of those strengths.

How much is a 2022 Infiniti QX60?

The 2022 Infiniti QX60 starts at $46,850 for the Pure trim. The Luxe trim starts at $52,900. The Sensory trim starts at $56,350, and the Autograph trim starts at $60,350.

The QX60 uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine to make 295 horsepower. It achieves 21 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. It comes standard with manual-mode paddle shifters, multi-mode second-row seats with one-touch release, and wireless Apple CarPlay. It also features wired Android Auto.

The luxury SUV features a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, and leather-appointed seating. The front seat is heated and eight-way power-adjustable. It also includes a Black Lacquer interior trim, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and Infiniti voice recognition.

The SUV comes standard with a rear sonar system, Hill Start Assist, and Cruise Control as well. Car and Driver recommends the Sensory trim. The Sensory trim comes standard with features like wireless phone charging, an air purifier, and massaging front seats.

Is the 2022 Infiniti QX60 worth the money?

The 2022 Infiniti QX60 is an amazing SUV model, but it isn’t class-leading. Several alternatives, including the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE Class, are better options. If you’re looking for a luxury SUV model with a refined interior, plenty of engine options, and great standard tech, the 2022 BMW X5 may be the way to go.

Car and Driver gave the 2022 BMW X5 a 9.5/10 overall rating. It also won an Editor’s Choice award from the publication. The X5 starts at $60,600. When it comes to luxury SUVs, you get what you pay for.
