The refreshed Mazda3 is coming down the pike later this summer, and with it comes a range of new models to choose from. Not much has changed since 2023, but a host of new safety features are now standard. That, plus upgraded tech makes the newest Mazda compact car a more well-rounded experience than its predecessor. But how much does a fully-loaded Mazda3 cost in 2024? And is it worth it? Considering the compact’s near-luxury car status, it just might be.

A fully-loaded Mazda3 costs $37,825 in 2024

At first brush, it may seem like nearly $40,000 is a big ask for a new compact sedan. But the $37,825 cost on a fully-loaded 2024 Mazda3 gets you more than just a small car with some tech goodies.

There are some minor styling tweaks to the exterior, including a rear lip spoiler on the sedan. Plus, both sedans and hatchbacks get gloss black lower grilles and splitters.

Luxury-focused features in the new Mazda3

Mazda has long stated its aspirations as a premium car brand, and it’s starting to flex that muscle in the new Mazda3. Even more basic models get dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, and power adjustability with memory functions.

In the fully-loaded Mazda3, even more premium touches grace the cabin. A 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio system isn’t just for show. It develops an immersive and rich sound experience that rivals premium systems from high-end luxury car brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Furthermore, leather seats are available in a variety of colors including black, white, and red, so there are some custom styling options to work with.

Tech puts the 2024 Mazda3 ahead of the pack

There is a host of new tech features for 2024, and this fully-loaded Mazda3 features the best of the best. In addition to the new wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and charging pad, there are smart braking functions in both forward and reverse gears.

The adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist helps with stop-and-go traffic, while a 360-degree camera view makes it easy to navigate tight spaces. Plus, built-in satellite-linked navigation means no worrying about cell service when it’s time to find civilization.

The most-powerful Mazda3 engine is in the fully-loaded model

Mazda’s zoom-zoom philosophy of old isn’t as easy to find these days. But in the fully loaded 2024 Mazda, you get some of that spirit back. The 2.5-liter turbocharged engine isn’t exclusive to the top-spec compact, but it is the exclusive powertrain for this top-level trim package.

Rather than the 191 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque in the base model, this turbocharged four-cyilnder churns out 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque with premium fuel.

That’s enough grunt to get it from zero to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds, thanks in part to its all-wheel drive system. That setup is also standard on the top Mazda3 Turbo Premium Plus package, so you’ll never have to pay for extra performance to match those luxury features.

Is a fully-loaded 2024 Mazda3 worth it?

Considering the luxury features and added driver assistance tech, the fully loaded 2024 Mazda3 Turbo Premium Plus presents an excellent overall value. It’s over $4,000 more than the Carbon Turbo, but the added proximity features are worth it. You’ll save that $4k in bodywork alone thanks to the 360-degree camera.

It’s more comfortable than any of its competitors, including the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe and Audi A3. On that basis alone, the top 2024 Mazda3 trim package is well worth its asking price.
