The Nissan Titan XD is the heavy-duty (or “extra-duty, in the Titan’s case) version of the regular Nissan Titan pickup truck. Because it offers better towing and capabilities compared to the regular truck, the XD warrants a higher price tag. Here’s how much you’ll have to pay for the best-equipped 2023 Nissan Titan XD.

A brief overview of every Nissan Titan XD trim

The 2023 Nissan Titan XD Crew Cab S currently starts at $47,590. The Crew Cab is the only cab option for the XD model, and each also comes in a 4×4 drivetrain configuration. Like every other Nissan Titan XD, the S trim comes with a V8 capable of 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque.

With a receiver hitch, the Nissan Titan XD has a maximum towing capacity of 10,898 lbs. Its cargo box measures in at 6.6 ft long, and you can load it up with 2,406 lbs worth of cargo.

The Nissan Titan XD S rides on 17-inch steel wheels, plus features a black grille and bumpers. The crew cab has room for up to six passengers inside on stain-resistant cloth seats. It also has a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat in case you need any extra cargo space.

The Nissan Titan XD comes standard with an 8-inch infotainment screen equipped with smartphone integration, as well as a 7-inch digital gauge cluster. The Safety Shield 360 suite includes several advanced driver’s aids like a driver alertness monitor, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and forward collision warning.

The Nissan Titan XD Crew Cab SV has the same towing and hauling capacities as the base trim. Nissan specifies a gooseneck towing capacity of 11,033 lbs for this model. The Titan XD SV has a few extra safety enhancements, including bright LED taillights and adaptive cruise control. It also has bigger 18-inch wheels and a trailer brake controller. You can buy this model for $51,410.

The Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X has an asking price of $57,370. This one is equipped with Bilstein shocks and an electronic locking rear differential, plus LED headlights. The interior features embroidered cloth seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. You also get hill descent control and a 9-inch infotainment screen inside this heavy-duty truck.

How much does a Platinum Reserve cost?

On its own, the top-tier Nissan Titan XD demands $65,320. It includes standard cooling and heating for the front seats as well as heated outboard rear seats. These seats are upholstered in leather and bear a special Platinum Reserve logo. The exterior also looks high-class with a satin-finished grille, 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and chrome-accented running boards.

Available accessories for the fully loaded Nissan Titan XD Platinum Reserve

Some of the Nissan Titan XD’s paint colors, such as Deep Blue Pearl, are only optional if you buy certain packages. The moonroof package adds a dual panoramic moonroof, while the Platinum Reserve Utility package adds a rear bumper step and Titan boxes (similar to RamBoxes). With both of those included, plus shipping and handling fees, the Nissan Titan XD Platinum Reserve costs over $70,000.

You can also add mud flaps, silver skid plates, and black-out versions of the 20-inch wheels. Wind deflectors can be added to the hood and side windows. There are a few bike racks and a ski adaptor available, all of which cost a few hundred dollars apiece.

There’s an available rear-seat infotainment system for about $2,000 and you can add a speaker system to the cargo box for tailgate parties. Nissan also offers lots of safety kits, illuminated interior elements, weatherproof seat covers, and even a virtual key. Would you be willing to pay $80,939 for a Nissan Titan XD with all of those options added?
