Cadillac is famous for its luxury cars, but in recent years, the company has shifted its focus from sedans to SUVs. The CT5 is an exception. This midsize luxury sedan boasts a pricey high-performance version, the CT5-V Blackwing. Here’s a look at the latest model and what a fully loaded 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing costs.

Overview of the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V

The 2024 Cadillac CT5-V starts at about $51,500. It’s the high-performance version of the CT5, starting at about $40,000. That price makes the standard CT5 a bargain in the luxury segment, but the V-Series’ almost $12,000 premium mostly pays for significant upgrades under the hood.

The standard CT5 starts with a 237-hp four-cylinder. The V-Series replaces that engine with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 producing 360 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. This potent power plant allows the luxury sedan to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and top out at 156 mph.

On the inside, the CT5-V’s cabin provides a mix of performance-oriented features and luxury amenities. For example, it has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, performance bucket seats, and sports pedals. It also has a few standard advanced safety features, such as forward collision warning, and a launch control system.

How much is a fully loaded 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and what do you get?

The 2024 Blackwing starts at about $93,500. Again, the main reason for that price is under the hood. Cadillac gave the Blackwing a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 harnessing 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque. This potent engine pushes the car from 0 to 60 mph in a searing 3.4 seconds. On the racetrack, it has a top speed of over 200 mph.

That nearly six-figure price also pays for upgrades to the car’s interior. It includes leather upholstery, massage front seats, and a head-up display.

In addition, Cadillac offers several options and packages to upgrade this midsize luxury sedan further. For example, the $2,500 Super Cruise 2 package adds GM’s semiautonomous driving system. And as the name implies, the $6,500 Carbon Fiber 2 package adds plenty of carbon fiber accents.

Customers can also add various accessories. They include a $1,500 power sunroof, $9,000 carbon ceramic brakes, and a $75 cargo net.

Cadillac also charges extra for many color options, including several $8,000 interior color combos and a $2,000 exterior paint job.

With all those options, packages, and accessories, a fully loaded 2024 CT5-V Blackwing costs over $143,000.

For comparison, the 2023 Escalade-V retails for $151,090. This high-performance full-size SUV packs a 6.2-liter V8 making 682 hp and 653 lb-ft of torque. It can roar from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and reach a modest 125 mph. That’s a full second and 31 mph slower than the CT5-V Blackwing.

How does the 2024 CT5-V Blackwing differ from the 2023 model?

The 2024 model year isn’t much different from the 2023 version. That’s primarily because Cadillac introduced the CT5 for the 2020 model year and the Blackwing for 2022. So the company didn’t change the car significantly for the latest model year. The 2023 CT5-V Blackwing’s performance specs and cabin are similar to the 2024 model.

The main difference is pricing. The 2023 CT5-V Blackwing started at about $92,000. That’s about $1,500 cheaper than the 2024 model. The latest Blackwing also gets access to a few new paint options.
