As luxury features go, massage seats are one of the few that haven’t made their way into mid-market vehicles. Even models like the Hyundai Elantra and Honda Accord offer ventilated seats, but the in-seat massage is reserved for the top-spec luxury vehicles. If you’re looking for a new car with massage seats in 2023, these are the cheapest three options available.

1. Cadillac CT5 is the cheapest new car with massage seats at $53,000

While the 2023 Cadillac CT5 starts at around $43,000, it’ll cost nearly 10-grand more to get a massage while on the road. The Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury trim sits at just about $53,000, making it the cheapest new car available with massage seats for 2023. The better news is that for the cash, the fullsize Cadillac sedan also comes with a host of other high-end features.

For starters, the leather seats are bolstered with four-way adjustable lumbar support for even greater comfort. The car also comes with a Bose 15-speaker premium audio system and built-in navigation.

All told, the CT5 Premium Luxury lives up to both its name and the legacy of the Cadillac brand.

2. Mercedes-Benz E-Class – $60,000

It’s a pretty hefty jump from the cheapest new car with massage seats to P2 on this list, where we find the 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. According to MotorTrend, the E-Class starts at $56,000, but it’ll take an additional $2,300 options package to get the relaxed, upscale ride that comes with a massaging seat. True to the German ethos, getting the massage seats doesn’t necessarily mean getting everything else associated with top-tier luxury.

You’ll have to fork over yet more dough for features like air suspension, a heads-up display, and even ventilated front seats. Even features like adaptive cruise control and heated rear seats come at an extra cost. With all of those additional touches tacked on, the E-Class runs up a bill approaching $70,000 in a hurry.

3. Volvo S90 – $65,000

Ranking third is the Volvo S90, but once again this model doesn’t come standard with a built-in back rub. The third cheapest car with massage seats will run you up to $65,000 when all is said and done.

To get massage seats in the S90 means getting the S90 Ultimate, then adding the Lounge package to the whole thing. However, at this point, the S90 comes much more well-equipped than the Mercedes up there.

With this top-tier S90 comes a heads-up display, 296-horsepower twin-charged engine, and built-in navigation. Furthermore, the S90 comes with a whole host of driver assistance features including adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, and a surround-view monitor. Better yet, it comes with a semi-autonomous drive mode that keeps the car centered in its lane and following the traffic ahead.

Overall, the S90 with massage seats delivers more than an E-Class at the same level, though the Mercedes offers more flexibility with its feature selections.

Getting massage seats in a new car isn’t cheap

With a minimum price of around $55,000, there is no cheap way to get massage seats in a new 2023 car. These three options are some of the least expensive, but they’re still pricey luxury cars that most of us aren’t buying.
