Forsberg Package Adds Off-Road Racing Gear to The Nissan Frontier
Nissan found a great way to celebrate the Frontier’s win at the NORRA 500 desert race in Mexico. A new Forsberg Edition package honors this win with signature off-road, racing-inspired upgrades to the Nissan Frontier. Unlike other midsize truck special packages, this package has meaning and is named for the team owner, Chris Forsberg.
How did this new Nissan Frontier package become a real thing?
The truck that survived 500 miles across the Baja desert appeared at last year’s SEMA show. Chris Forsberg and his racing team took a factory Nissan Frontier and added all the trimmings necessary to ensure it would survive the abusive environment of the NORRA 500 race. This meant adding knobbier tires and NISMO parts that could handle the grueling challenge.
This truck and its win inspired the new Forsberg Package, which is a new option for the Frontier. The package can be ordered with much of what the racing team added to their truck, except for the decal-laden exterior styling.
The new Forsberg Package equipment will be displayed at the Chicago Auto Show. This package is a $9,999.00 dealer-installed kit that turns a stock Frontier into a desert racing machine.

Adding this upgrade to a Nissan Frontier gives drives the off-road gear to tackle harsh terrain and desert challenges. This dealer-installed kit comes with:

- Yokohama Geolander mud-terrain tires

- Low-profile roof rack with integrated LED lights

Which Nissan Frontier trucks are eligible for this special package?
In order to have the Forsberg Package added to the Nissan Frontier, consumers don’t have to purchase a brand-new 2024 version of the truck. This package is available for 2022 or newer Frontier models with a crew cab. To get the most out of this package, 4WD should be part of the mix, but the package is available for RWD models as well.
What’s the most affordable way to have the Forsberg Package?
When ordering a new pickup with this special package, the 2024 Nissan Frontier S Crew Cab is the most affordable model, which starts at $32,840. Adding 4WD to the mix increases the price by $3,000. Toss in the price of the package, and you’re over $45,000 for this special edition truck.
The Frontier S includes a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. This model also has:
