This advanced form of cruise control can adjust the electric SUV’s speeds accordingly and uses navigation as well as the Mach-E’s front camera. Welcome to the future of cruise control. The electric SUV also features increased towing capacity. Models powered by Ford’s largest battery can tow up to 3,307 pounds. According to Motor1, That’s an increase of about 1,102 pounds from the previous model year.

The European Ford Mustang Mach-E equipped with Ford’s largest battery pack is the most powerful version of the electric SUV yet in terms of towing capacity. Its updated cruise control system also makes it the smartest Mach-E model yet.

The Mustang Mach-E made a huge splash when it first arrived as a 2021 model year. The electric SUV won plenty of awards because of how groundbreaking its design was for the Blue Oval. There were plenty of skeptics that believed an electric Mustang SUV was sacrilegious. Ford proved that the Mach-E is as much of a Mustang as its ancestors thanks to plenty of horsepower and Torque. The Mach-E GT performance trim clearly takes inspiration from the performance specs of other Mustang models.

What to expect from the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E

The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E faced an uphill battle as the electric SUV was recalled for reliability issues. The 2023 Mach-E will attempt to put those recalls far behind the nameplate and reclaim its dominance in the small electric SUV vehicle segment.

The 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is the electric SUV to watch in 2022. The Mach-E will be gunning for that top spot in 2023. Increased towing capacity as well as more driving range may be the key to moving the electric SUV up in rankings.
