A starting price over $67K isn’t outside the realm of possibility for the EV9 due to its size and unique powertrain system. The European base model also includes Kia’s larger battery option, which will be significantly more expensive than the brand’s smaller battery option due to its driving range.
So, it’s still unclear how much the Kia EV9 will cost when it becomes available in America, but Belgium’s price unveiling is a good starting point for an estimate. The most affordable version of the midsize three-row fully-electric SUV will likely start close to $60,000.
