Celebrities often represent the hottest vehicles you can find. There’s no denying that the Tesla Cybertruck is a popular, head-turning option. When Beyoncé and Jay-Z got their Tesla Cybertruck, they immediately made one change to stand out even more.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z instantly change their Tesla Cybertruck

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are only two of the many celebrities flexing their new Tesla Cybertruck model. Other celebrities who managed to snag this truck include Serena Williams, Pharrell Williams, Jay Leno, Lady Gaga, and Kim Kardashian.

The iconic couple wanted to stand out from the pack of stainless steel Cybertruck models, so they instantly had it wrapped in matte black.

It creates a striking contrast against the white interior to create a unique look. Elon Musk caught wind of their decision and simply posted, ‘Nice.’

So, even though the wrap could compromise the truck’s durability, Musk isn’t criticizing the decision. In recent weeks, various wraps have been popping up all over the place.

Reportedly, wrapping a stainless steel vehicle can lead to early corrosion and may void the body warranty. But vinyl wraps may not cause any damage and can be easier to remove.

Over time, some wraps may seep under the skin and discolor a traditional vehicle. But the truck can be rewrapped later.

Also, Jay-Z and Beyoncé probably have enough cash to quickly handle any potential vehicle problems that they may face.

Elon Musk and the Cybertruck developers decided to leave the stainless steel truck bare to improve its durability. Plus, no paint eliminates another expensive layer from the truck that can easily be scratched.

The Tesla Cybertruck starts at $61,240 before the delivery fee, markups, and tax fees are added in. It’s unclear how much money the lack of paint saves.

Also, Elon Musk has a wooden version of the Cybertruck. He has no room to criticize modifications and is probably happy to have free advertising from celebrities driving it around.

If you spot a matte black Cybertruck model then it could mean that Beyoncé or Jay-Z is behind the wheel. Standing out may actually make them easier to spot.

But as you may already know from the Jeep and truck community, people love their mods. Making a vehicle unique and true to your personal preferences isn’t anything new.
