However, the sixth-gen car extends back to 2016, meaning there are plenty of model years to peruse. Still, not everyone agrees on which of the latest Chevrolet Camaros is the most unreliable, with the 2017 and 2019 models up for debate.

Critics of the sixth-generation Camaro lineup disagree over the least reliable model. Some evaluators cite the 2017 model, which exhibits some transmission issues. Others claim the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro’s low reliability scores are a detriment to its merit as a used performance car.
As a result, owners might be better off opting for a different model year, like the 2020 or 2018 Camaro. Those model years still include the 455-horsepower 6.2L V8 engines that fans love, as well as the track-ready ZL1.
